who do you think has the biggest smile, Lance or the kids?OMG can you imagine! They would have been so thrilled.
Nowadays 400m is closer to a prolonged sprint than an endurance distance. Think it fits well with how he gets up and back when on the wing. His 3/4 pace is quicker than most.
Like Wicks in Kizza's number.New jumper numbers:
2 - Hayden McLean (previously 41)
15 - Sam Wicks (previously 45)
19 - Peter Ladhams
29 - Angus Sheldrick
34 - Matt Roberts
37 - Corey Warner
41 - Lachie Rankin
Can only assume Chad and Tom didn't want to be next to their brothers Corey and Paddy respectively, since both numbers were available. (Who could blame them? Imagine sharing a locker with the person you grew up with!)
Also have to assume that we've given up trying to find the perfect candidate for the 37, which is probably worthwhile, since the first choice to wear it post-Goodes ended up a shocker anyway.

Longmire early in the vid: Top 4 teams for contested ball were the 4 teams in the prelim final, that's where we got to get to...

Corey's still in WA. Looks like Stephens. Right size.2.05 - 2.10 in that vid there's a blonde rooster who moves beautifully. Great separation to make space then a nice switch of hands to give off.
Not sure if it's Corey Allegory or maybe Stephens.
Hopeful that Will is impressing. Otherwise the screen time is just cruel
Gould was one of the ones who got a lot of attention last season, right before he spent the entire year in the reserves, barely even making the senior emergencies.
The issue with pre-season coverage is that it's so often not indicative of how one's season will go. Every year we hear names who are killing it in the pre-season and they get hyped up big time, only to put in middle of the road seasons when the real deal starts. Meanwhile the players who take the biggest strides forward and/or have the biggest impact in the actual season are the ones who barely get a mention over the summer.
Appreciate the club has an obligation to keep us informed and highlight the players most catching the eye, and anything is better than nothing, but their updates about individuals are almost completely pointless.
Geez one minute we complain that all the focus is on Buddy, JPK, and Parker then when an up and comer gets some media it's unjustified hype.
Not complaining about it at all. I've been vocal that I'd rather see and hear from players like Gould than the usual suspects, because pre-season is basically the only time we get to (let's face it, our coverage of the reserves during the season is awful.)
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't take any of the info with a grain of salt.

Hopefully that is the only reason!!Well we now know the thing (or have had confirmed the thing) that was keeping him back was his weight. He confirmed it.
