Banter Who will be better in 2024? Carlton or Collingwood?

Would be a massive thread starter on teh Main Board: " All the predictions that Fudgey has got wrong" - would go on and on for pages and pages- just the FACTS - mind you no need for embellishment fudgyewudgeystyle - but I guess holding people to account is against Board rules?

As long as you start with my predictions at the start of each season since I joined BigFooty in 2007:

'Carlton will not be a genuine premiership contender'.

But as I have previously stated, those free kicks dry up when it matters most

Maybe they dried up because defenders actually worked out how to defend.
Harris Andrews and Steven May don't need to resort to grappling in order to defend. Moore tried but it just didn't work for him . For your sake, hopefully Collingwood have a different plan in round 8 or it might get ugly again

"You'd have no chance fronting up to the interview process and trying to explain to them the shortcomings in their list and the fact it will like take 3 to 4 years of drafting and trading to get the list anywhere near it needs to be to contend.

They'd laugh you out the door and explain to you 'Don't you realise we have Cripps, Curnow, McKay, Walsh and Weitering? All the pieces are already there!"

I'm wondering if we have experienced some sort of time jump and are actually in 2028 at the moment? Seems the Pies list is the one currently struggling

Hard to not give 10% of the frees he should be getting Charlie is a true superstar of the game and every defender trying to stop dirties their undies and goes the scrag - everyone knows this - just ask.

Yeah, but why dont other superstar forwards like TomaHawk, Jack, T.Lynch, J.Cameron get the same number of frees?

The Carlton fan thesis seems to be that defenders shit themselves and scrag Charlie only...

Oh come on now - he is the toughest match-up in the game for any defender they all dirty their pants and lose sleep worrying about the extent of embarrassment they will suffer so they infringe and infringe and infringe- - got nothing else ..
