You'll notice there was no crying from me about facing Melbourne, Port, Gold Coast (in NT...10x harder than at Marvel) and GWS in quick succession. Blues boys have cried difficult fixture all season.

After all the Carlton chest beating, Geelong can still climb back above the Blues tonight. I was surprised to see this was the case, that's all. Don't get upset. Richmond played well last week.
Mate we know how the ladder works, take your sour posts and go for a holiday, this week it's our turn.

Did I use that repeatedly? Or just once in response to a baiting question? How many people got offended by that horrific term, a whole gender?

You might want to just let this one go, can't always be right [emoji38]

So you go from feigning knowledge of the term you used, after complaining how goatie was being named, to now justifying your comments

Lift your game

Of course you wouldn’t have cried difficult as Port and GWS were at your fortress and you would have been rubbing your hands with glee for those games, apart from when the final siren sounded.

I actually preferred the harder draw as it’s shown we’ll be up there this year, regardless of personnel.

Sour posts? What an odd way to interpret some fairly light hearted commentary on basic things.

You guys should be up and about, and not so quick to turn miserable because of the opinions of others.
We are up and about and are not going to take shit from you this week, come back when we lose again.

Fortress?

Geelong have lost most of their last 7 games at that fortress (2023/2024). Geelong has been better at the G and over in Adelaide than down in Geelong this season.

People complaining and obsessing over the draw are in the same category as perennial umpire whingers or injury deflectors. Soft.

your level of banter is 'Fudgey Light' - just as boring just as predictable but just on the right side of ridiculous to not be immediately consigned to the laughter bin - keep working you'll get down there soon enough...

carlton_99 the ladder actually means little when 2 wins separates 2nd and 11th, while Brisbane and Adelaide below them are just as good when they pull their finger out (a 50/50 proposition).
I understand the ladder doesn't mean much at this point in the season - have said that in multiple posts in this thread previously.

Even if you put ladder positions aside the 9-games in a row are very tough because the teams were largely "in form" when we played them:

Round 6: Giants (were undefeated)
Round 7: Cats (were undefeated)
Round 8: Pies (undefeated for a month)
Round 9: Dees (had just beaten the undefeated Cats)
Round 10: Swans away (best team in the comp)
Round 11: Suns (had just beaten the Cats by 10 goals, albeit an undermanned Geelong)
Round 12: Port away (had won three games in a row + home venue where we have a horrible record)
Round 13: Dons
Round 14: BYE
Round 15: Cats

EDIT: And once again mentioning something and discussing it in a public forum does not mean you are complaining about it.

It’s a big advantage you have playing games there, especially against the lesser lights but didn’t say I call it your fortress, I’m well aware of your poor record there against GWS and I expected Port to beat you.

Also a bit harsh calling yourself soft.

Go have a look at the SFA and see how i go talking to posters not in my supporter base, you have no idea and just here for a shit stir, you are making yourself look like a salty sook here but we'll enjoy the week anyway.
Absolutely not, there were interesting developments in the Collingwood/Carlton area and this seemed like the most relevant thread to comment.

The fact that it is the winners of the week who are resorting to insults, whinging and stereotypical victim complexes is enlightening though.

Win, loss or draw - Carlton supporters are ready for a tantrum.

Really unless you are playing West Coast at home, or Richmond/NM anywhere it's hard to say there are any soft games. It's just when you play teams and that is far harder to analyse, which is why people defer to ladder position even when it as congested as it is now.

Toughen up. Seen Marc Murphy cop a lot of shit here over the years (that bakers delight pink bun is a doozy), didn't see a single public complaint like that. In fact it was probably worse. Fantastic double standards there, but at the end of the day, it's a bit of ribbing between opposition posters. I don't see anything deliberately malicious about it. And I don't think Nick would give a damn either (actually have heard players call him Nicki as a way to put him off, he just laughed and kicked arse).

No prizes for second in the real world M7 - but carry on with your irrelevant posts in a banter thread between Collingwood and Carlton posters ...
Mr Meow has a major FOMO problem that he's struggling to deal with. The fact that Carlton or Collingwood have no rivalry with his team is of no consequence and he will not stop until all the keys on his keyboard are broken.

Settle down and get back to speaking about the football, please.

You sure look like you are "enjoying yourself", miserable sod.

There's a time and place for personal attacks and tantrums. It ain't here. Discuss the points you disagree with and go from there.
We were talking about our win and our ladder position before you interrupted the thread again, but you have taken the pressure of the Collingwood supporters they must love you.

Can we just get back to discussing the football, this is getting incredibly tiresome.

Carlton played very well this week and have bounced back as I predicted. We can start from there.
