Not sure I've ever suggested that.

But the fact is Daicos has had two seasons in the system, and played in finals both times, after joining a team that had finished 17th in 2022 (and we were all told we were in for 5 years of 21st Century Carlton like mediocrity).

And the margins in many games in 2022 were so fine that we possibly don't even play finals without Daicos, and the margins in our last two finals in 2023 were so narrow that we likely don't win those games without Daicos.
Surely you are not suggesting that the arrival of Daicos , and him alone , was the sole reason your mob went from 17th to a prelim ?

Lets be honest there is contested ball and there is the interpretation they choose of contested ball.

Also there is a tackle and the the interpretation of a tackle.

About the contested mark thing, Daics went into several packs with the Bont, and while the great man took the honours overall, Naicos beat him in several one-on-ones. 10 coaches votes to 8, I am intensely proud of that second place.

Its more than that, since N Daicos was born in 2003 there has been a relative decline in deaths from cancer.

Cripps 9 CPs outweigh Daics 27 because they mostly came in the last qtr [emoji106]

Daics could have had a huge last quarter too if he'd bludged for the first 3

Daicos had a good game. But his direct opponent took that game when it was there to be won in the last quarter. Daicos had the same opportunity but just watched on in this instance.

Shhh, they don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot. They salivate over a match winning goal against Carlton , but will have none of it when it goes against him

Poor Walshy, Nick kicked as many goals on Friday night as Walsh has kicked for the season. Poor Sammy, must be tough living in the shadow of the great Nick Daicos when you are 2 and a half years older.
Walsh is coming second in the "Fadge's Coaches award if you don't take into account missed games". He extended his lead over ND on the weekend. Would probably be leading if Crippa could stop taking votes off him

Daics broke club records for CPs and clearances, it was just about the best game of his career

Unfortunately he's not Superman, you do need teammates to help out

You seem to be really good as bringing up videos. Show us just 1 of Sam Walsh pulling out of a contest . Please, I dare you
I haven't put up any videos. So wtf?

Sam the seagull would first have to actually get into a contest before he could squib it.😂

Hmmm seems some are focused on pure numbers of CPs and Clearances to measure a players value on winning a game.

I’ll take Bonts game over Daicos.

Club records for CPs, lol.
Some are starting to sound like English cricket fans.
Moral victors.

I was pleased for Bont that he actually decided to show up this week, after some absolutely putrid performances this year

Daics never phones it in, what a season he is compiling

Sam Walsh highlights in general are hard to find

Very few goals, not many CPs

Just handball receives and agricultural hoofs down the line, what a career [emoji1787]

But despite that Walsh is coming second in the "Fadge's Coaches award if you don't take into account missed games" and he extended his lead over ND on the weekend.
