It's Sammy the seagull not Sammy the Squib. No AFL player is a squib!

Where do I find these squib stats you must be referring to to make your objective assessment?

YOU have been consistently calling Daicos an uncontested seagull. I can refer you to unbiased, objective stats that prove that your boy is 20% more of an "uncontested seagull" than Daicos is.

Hard pill to swallow when your user name is "walsisthegoat". I get that. But sometimes you just gotta concede if you want to maintain any sort of credibility.
"Nick the Kick-ins" Seagull Squib Daics is now getting nearly twice as many CPs as "tough nut" Walsh, I can't stop lolling [emoji38] [emoji23] [emoji1787]

Smashed out of the park, who's next?!

The bloke is nearly 3 years older and still not performing as a great as Nick. Lets see if Walshy could kick a goal this week.

Maybe his third for the season. Incredibly Maynard has kicked more goals than Walsh this year. Richards has kicked more, Harrison has doubled his tally plus some more and Sullivan has kicked the same. Mr Impact
Sorry the" Fadge most Coaches votes per game" is the measure is the measure we are using. Walsh doesn't need to kick the goals when you have twin towers up forward. ND hasn't kicked as many goals as Crippa

Jesus H christ. Introducing goal kicking now are we ? The great Pendlebury has kicked 4, the former brownlow medalist in Mitchell just 1 solitary. FmD you make the world best debating team with that rubbish. Lol

Gee, Carlton supporters introduced contested marking as a measure, but goals cannot be considered. Thanks for proving my point that Pendles has kicked twice as many as Walshy. By the way Pendles has won as many Premierships as Walshy has kicked goals this year.

Robert Klomp was 2 flags mate. Premiership players don't mean much to me statistically considering it's a team game. It like saying Mason Cox is a better footballer than Gary Ablett Snr coz he's won a flag. Doesn't make him a better player just saying.....

Klomp was a pretty good player, finished 7th in the 1979 Brownlow, think you've gotten your stories mixed up, he won a TV in a night game when he had had a quiet one

It is impossible to compare a modern day player to a player from other eras.
As great as a player today might be they do not play looking over their shoulder, they do not play and require the sane courage players from previous eras needed to. The modern player knows that 98% of the time he can’t be touched and what previous eras called tough and aggressive is now seen as mass murder.
All eras have great players. Discos might end one if the greats of his era but that’s about where it will sit.
He is playing AFL Auskick footy league , he is not playing Aussie Rules Football as the previous eras did. Nit his fault if course but they are totally different sports.

He's not even as good as Chad or Errol.
Chad has been good this year and at 23yo, he seems to be coming.
Errol was great last year as a winger and although maybe not as good this year, he is going well again.
Nick is not just coming at 21yo, he is already here and although he was great last year, he has gone to another level this year.

So whether your comment was tongue in cheek, or if you actually believe it :laughv1: .

I think he has then both covered ATM.
Long way to go in the season and those two players have a good team around them.

Nick isn't as lucky and has to do most of the heavy lifting himself.
Admirable for a 21yo.

Nick and Errol are basically the same age and Errol is the better player. But he doesn't run around in Melbourne every week so he's out of sight out of mind.

Poor Daicos running around with 21 blokes who he won a flag with. Spare me "he doesn't have a good team around him".

Errol is the better player despite:
Daicos beat him in every individual home and away award in 2023, despite playing fewer games;
Daicos is again beating Errol in the Coaches Award (and likely every individual home and away award) in 2024. Errol currently on the fringe of the AA team, whilst Daicos already a lock.

This despite Errol having had an additional season in the system.

Wowee.

Daics has had 100 CPs in 5 weeks, Errol 81 for the whole year

Gulden rofl who averages 21.7 possessions a game at 68.2% disposal efficiency. Please bring Sam Walsh back into the discussion.

Sorry I lost my way, I've stumbled onto the Collingwood board.

Daicos is an Umpires darling who can run away in his D50 with the ball, get tackled, and not get pinged! He can hang off his opponent at stoppages or get team mates to hang onto them for him so he can get first use and the Umpires turn a blind eye! I'm amazed the AFL didn't find a way to give him votes while he was out injured last year so that the poor dear didn't miss out on his rightful Brownlow.

“whisper” =276th in the AFL for efficiency.

Thankfully Sam isn’t in the same ballpark!

Actually it's worse. N Daicos is ranked 322nd in disposal efficiency this year.

You're right, Walsh is 475th out of 601 players...so not the same ballpark and not even the same sport.

He won the Fadgelow Medal last year in case you haven't heard yet
