Of course we should have and we would have kept Archie may them not req sims and grabbed extra mid in the draft , #%# stupid list mgmt when u have players under your nose
Archie i could not understand how on earth they let him go as he was showing so much progress and unlike the 2 new forwards can mark and kick goals. I'm over it, so many stupid decisions.

Thought Ross went ok when shifted more on-ball late in the game. Played a much better game than he has the last couple of months. Fancy that, a mid playing well as a mid.

Reckon a tall or two could use a rest or spell in the 2's for some confidence. Jonty showing signs but cannot find the big sticks.

Agree with many on here about Balta though, just looked completely lost all day.
I think rather than dropping him to the 2's, maybe a run down forward and get Blight in the backline.

He basically kicked multiple goals every week at vfl in his first season but oh no that's not good enough , compare Fawcett to how he went last year if anyone think it's easy in first season to do that , he can barely get a kick

I'm not liking what I see with Fawcett. Think he had 3 goals prior to the game. Bloody shocking as we have a winning team. Like you said we got rid of some nice quality and are left with crap which needs delisting. Apart from Blight, no one else deserves to get promoted this week. The new kid looks good, but I'd hate if they rush him in and does something.

Kicked 22.20 im his 15 games with us over 2yrs with us.
His best was 4.2 against ess ironically.
In his 1st year with us his best was 1.2 from 3 games.
His last 3 games he managed 7 goals
(2/3/2).
Now Fawcett you have too remember he missed 12mnths with a back.
So he's starting all over again while young Sims is well still young.

I dont know what it was but Balta looked off on Sunday. We've flirted with it before and ive been against it in the past but hell id consider throwing him forward and 2nd ruck for a while to get himself involved. Let Blight play Key back, hes in ripping form and one if were looking at West Coast deals it would be nice to get some exposed AFL form into.

This week for me assuming McAuliffe is still no good

In: Lalor, Blight
Out: Sonsie, Sims

Sims has done a bloody good job but really struggling to make an impact for mine. Hes had some exposure, let him go back down and get some confidence in the 2's. Id also like Alger to start somehow.

The midfield names keep changing but the clearance results are the same shite. Only thing that doesn’t change is who’s tapping the ball.
Do they keep changing? Hopper, Taranto, Prestia, McIntosh.

I would like at least one of them to change.

I agree with some of the comments but not necessarily all. I do think as most of us know & are prepared for pain in terms of the win/loss column. Now is a great time to experiment with players in different positions.... some may work others may not. But that's OK...

The decent mids went too quick in that draft. Sims is likely to be a better player than almost all the mids taken after his pick. May is also 2 years older and has a sample size of 2 games for 2 goals.

Shuffling the mids is moving the deck chairs on the titanic at the moment. Cotchin was able to work with a poor ruck and turn shit to diamonds but none of the current side are good enough to win clearances behind a badly beaten tap ruck.

English smashed us at stoppages and they were off to front running away. We need to bite the bullet and sort out the ruckman.

Well Hopper and TT had 6 clearances each whereas the highest for the game were Richards and Bont with 7. TT was tagged by Kennedy and he's tagged every week as the only people that don't rate him are Cornes and some Richmond nuffies. Maybe all the other coaches are morons and you are correct though.

Every week absolutely bullshit
He went missing in quite a few games

lol was literally his first 8 or so games of VFL football, I’ll say he kicked multiple goals in at least half of them , sorry in 2-3 games that he didn’t 🙄 yea that’d do it he’s no bloody good
He was always a long term prospect as he was a rower and didn't play much football as a junior. Was always a 50 /50 chance of making it .you go off way to early mate.
It's way way to early to know who will or won't be a champion. .or even an ok afl player. Very happy with simms

I think sims might be ok , I’m more critical of those making the decisions

We should have played Miller on Darcy. I don’t know if Miller would have stopped Darcy but to me it would have been a much better matchup. Balta is better suited to Norton IMO.
