He is a good set shot at goal. Its tough sometimes when you have a player like Langford who is quite versatile on where to play him.

Only that big dopey full forward of theirs at the top of my head.

They get their tyres pumped up an enormous amount every offseason but they just don’t perform when it’s go time.

Still have Ward and Kelly to come back as well as Haynes.

GWS seem to have big strong key position players that are great at ground level.

I tend to disagree. They are getting dominated by Lachie Keefe ffs... this is a clear indicator that Essendon are just total garbage!

It’s just a size issue, we have one genuine key defender in Hurley and even he is undersized. Need Hooker back.

Feel Scully was a bigger loss than Lobb, personally.

But yeah GWS would be happy with this performance sans Ward, Kelly, Haynes or Mumford.

I like Lobb and Shiel but I wouldn't of put Lobb as a top player.

Shiel was great but I think Taranto or Hopper can and will be as good or better.

Don’t know why they get so hyped. They lack elite talent. How many of their players would realistically be top fifty in the competition? Merrett, Smith and Heppell might scrape in, but you could easily argue that they don’t. I personally wouldn’t have any.
