Gee the other captain cops it hard on here and I know he has had the concussions to deal with but Jy should cop some heat for the lack of leadership shown by the senior core. We have 2 captains who if you combine their stats and influence on a game are an average day at the office for Harry

He does all the right things to get an opportunity and potentially have an impact but then it falls short.

He would be frustrated with himself as much as his equally-experienced teammates would. But then today was a game that your young-inexperienced teammates would expect you not to screw up as the co-captain.

The responsibility carries a requirement. At the moment, the requirements are on the shoulders of our young lads and not the guys in Jy's bracket. That's not on.

He needs to lift along with his teammates that let us down today.

When thinking about his game today, the first couple of things that came to mind were 2 or 3 chances to kick a captains goal, for zilch, and a handball to Sheez that missed him by at least a metre or two, has not looked 100% since the Webster hit, and maybe still not right.

Jy is treading water. Maybe the concussions are playing a role?

Signed to 2029…..

When do we start worrying???
I reckon you're bang on. He's 25, looks knackered and he has another 5 years?? Wow.

He’s always been like that. Dont use the concussion as an excuse. Always handballed at feet and burned kicks

Not a fan of the current role, would rather him as the lone 4th midfielder instead of splitting time with Laz.

The famous 'dancing feet' seem to have become mired in quicksand. Just seems to have lost a yard of pace and the real sharp side step and that was his point of difference.

Plenty of time to come good and the whole concussion thing must be playing on his mind but we just can't afford for another senior player plateauing at a seemingly very average level.

What vision is that?
Presumably the vision of only a few players going to pat CCJ on the shoulder on his way off the ground. Neither of them being the captain. Which is to say nothing of the possibility that every single player on the list has texted him or gone to see him at his house, away from cameras, privately. I honestly don't think it's as big a story as its being made out to be.

Or I could be wrong and CCJ might be a ******* thing of a bloke and nobody likes him.

Signing Jy til 2029 was crazy at the time. And seems even more ludicrous now.

Are the concussions taking their toll? The game seems to be happening a little quick for him at the moment.

Not sure how many Top 8 midfields he would get a gig in?

The CCJ vision isn’t great for either jy or Luke.
Jy didn’t go to him at all.

Luke in fairness did attempt a half run towards the stretcher when it was speeding off the ground, but as it has become customary he completely missed the target, like a kid watching the ice cream van go by.
Or when you forget to take the bins out and the garbage truck takes off.
