Just been reading the Caddy thread on the Cats board. Talk about bitter and twisted. Apparently we are an evil empire that turned a poor boys mind into leaving because their club wasn't interested in Delidio. He was interested in Geelong, but, they weren't so hot on him. So, to be clear, Geelong never approached Caddy about coming over to us, even though Wells approached Richardson in negotiations.
We offered crazy money apparently and can't live without Caddy.
So the Cats never stuffed themselves in the deal by planting the seed that Caddy was expendable by being tradable. It was all Richmond and his manager. Heck, even Selwood said Caddy wasn't going anywhere. Very strong culture at the Cats.
But remember we are an evil empire. Watch out Fyfe and Freo, you're next. 3rd rounder should do it.

Always hated that spud. I had tried to keep faith in him, thinking he would come good, but now that he is gone, I feel a renewed sense of belief and optimism about our squad. This is obviously helped by the new additions as well.
If I'm ever in shouting distance of Vickery, there's a strong chance he will cop a flurry of expletives in his direction.

The only couple I would potentially look at would be Xavier Richards (think we would have to pick him up in one of the drafts though as he hasn't been delisted) and Mitch Brown.
Brown just for some key back depth.
Richards I believe has some versatility to his game, could roam the HF flank and move up to a wing. Athletic dude. Was close to getting delisted by Sydney as a defender, transformed his game and played in a GF in that HF role. Sydney want to keep him, he wants to go.

The rest I wouldn't go near.
