NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Britney Taylor, who is suing Brown for alleged sexual assault, will meet with league investigators on Monday.

Per Rapoport, the NFL is hoping to fast-track Brown's case now that the season is underway. The league will also meet with Brown at an undetermined time and date. Rapsheet adds that Brown, whose camp has vehemently denied any wrongdoing, plans to fully cooperate with the league's investigation. The Patriots were reportedly caught off guard by the accusations levied against Brown and wouldn't have signed him had they known he was facing civil litigation. Despite everything that's transpired in the past week, AB is fully expected to make his Patriots debut Sunday against his hometown Dolphins.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Sam Darnold (mono) could be facing a 3-7 week absence.

The Jets had been hoping to get Darnold back after their Week 4 bye, but Rapoport was told that timetable may be "overly optimistic." Darnold is currently being quarantined and won't return to the team until his mono has subsided. The illness likely had a role in his sluggish Week 1 performance against Buffalo (175 yards on 28-of-41 passing). With Darnold absent, Trevor Siemian will get the call for Gang Green Monday versus Cleveland.
