Correct Jen. If I bid comes we can live trade. Have to have options to do it though. They would have plans in place though. (I hope).I don't think that's true.
When Richmond bidded on a lions academy player last year, I feel like Brisbane got another club involved to get them some points. The clock even stopped for a while. Maybe even a third club was involved.
Like the look of TreacySounds like there’s a couple more talls outside of the usual ones discussed that are worth looking at.

Yes, they also looked back further and found the likes of Hodge only got an 11 (same as Maynard) on the beep test too. Endurance can be improved, but football talent is something you’re born with. I’m glad they learned from the debacle that was [PLAYERCARD]Nathan Freeman[/PLAYERCARD] in 2013.Apex... didn't Rendell say Cripps poor time trial was the reason we passed him over, because it was their mistaken belief he had no endurance. Maynard had a similar poor result but the Pies had learned from their Cripps mistake and were not going to make the same mistake twice

Also its 2km. Hardly endurance for a game like AFL. They basically sprint it. You don't see the same guys doing 1500m and 10km in OlympicsGrundy comes last in the 2km every year. Would you consider him to have poor endurance, or would you say he consistently blows up his opponent with his ability to get around the ground? Maynard was drafted with poor endurance. Cripps was drafted with poor endurance. Hodge was recruited with poor endurance.
You don’t have to turn these guys in to marathon runners. Endurance as a general rule can be improved significantly once a player enters the system.
Question for those who know a bit about the bidding system. I know that the next pick has to be used in matching for a bid. But after the next pick does it still have to be picks in consecutive order to make up the rest of the points?
What I mean is this:
Let's say Dons bid on Reef at pick 8 (1551 points) and we decide to match. With the 20% discount (310 points) we need 1241 points.
We use pick 14 (1161 points) meaning we need 80 points more to match. Do we have to use 80 points from pick 16's value or can we use pick 66 (80 points exactly) to make up the rest of the value, meaning we keep pick 16 and pick 65 intact?

I believe that is the case too, 16 would slide backComes off 16 I think.
Had the same thought earlier regarding outcome of the draft, would be very happy landing those three at the pointy end. Then perhaps try and trade back into the second or third round for a look at someone like Callow/other rated sliderFuture 1st + 16 for 9 + 22.
9. Zach Reid
14. Finlay Macrae
22. Reef McInnes
After those we hopefully snag a couple of gems late, id really like Callow and Ford, maybe we could work out a favourable deal with the dogs say 65, 66, 68, 75 Plus an extra 100k pa for 33 and 39?

Seems that we loose each time propositions are put up in regards to trading in.Future 1st + 16 for 9 + 22.

Knightmare is there any Possible State League KPF's that Collingwood could take late in the Draft?

Tyler Keitel is the better of the KPPs but for me didn't play to the standard he needs to, to be someone I'd consider.
I'd rather Noah Gown as a young key forward solution as a rookie. I've covered him before, but his first season with Essendon in the VFL was actually very strong and I feel like he's been let go of too early. Beyond that, Jackson Callow as a late/rookie pick I like as an immediatish key forward though of draft age, with Kaine Baldwin the other I'd consider. For me, put a cross through everyone else. They're the only three I have any interest in, in the Pies situation as key forwards.
There are some good state league options in other positions though. Lots of general defenders. A few mids. James Rowe if looking for a good crumbing forward if you don't mind his forward pressure not being top notch.
Baldwin I could see going Late but I think Callow be a 2nd or 3rd Round Pick and at Moment we don't have Picks in that Area.
I reckon IF we have 5-6 Picks we take 1 or 2 State League Players with our Last Picks
