Am I out of line for suggesting people wait for the trade period to be over before completely losing their s**t?

Finals haven't even started yet....

Ziebell I suspect would be handing over his captaincy title in 2021 unless he get back to top notch form. We cannot have Ziebell cunn8ngton and Dumont in the same team as that would make the team significantly slower.

Dumont is a two way runner and very consistent and at 25 is into his peak. Ziebell is injured and even at full fitness, his disposal skills are s**t. Cunnington is too slow with suspect disposal skills and with the back injury, won’t get back to full fitness. Z and c are gone as early as 2022. Dumont should be given the captaincy as he’s of the right age and
Position plus he is relatively injury free.

Looks like we will only get pick 4 if not lower, Adelaide will * us over pumping up crouch’s price highest possible to get pick 2’ bulldogs do some shot fullers to get pick 3, something to do with academy bidding.

If Adelaide bid on JUH it benefits us down the track and we're still picking the second best player.

Adelaide have no power over the money clubs want to pay Crouch. The clubs linked to him don't have the money to boost his compensation that high.

Wtf? From now on just post every other time.

I cant handle the repeated dribble in this thread.

errrrr if clubs could pay up to 5 times 750k then it’s pick 2, so Holland and McDonald are both out. Bulldog could also leapfrog us details of how, to need to re read one of the old post but it’s to do with academy s**t......so if crouch goesto Geelong, maybe not at that price but to the GC.....

Staggering

If Polec, Higgins and Brown get us 3 second round picks or a late first and 2 seconds would that be something the dogs would look at for their first?

I also really like Connor Blakely from Freo, not that I have seen much of him in the AFL but he looked the goods in his draft year

Higgins + 24 > Geelong > 17 + 35
Dumont > Crows > 2021 R2
Brown + 17 + 2021 R2 > Gold Coast > 6 + 2021 R1

Keep Polec, Cunnington, Tarrant, Goldy and Ziebell to be the senior experience.

Keep it simple Rooboys Rool

And shove a big giant fist up Sydney, while we are at it.

Has there been any indication of any kind that the Suns are interested in Brown? They have King in the role that Brown would play.

It wouldn't surprise me if that was the trade for Higgins if he goes to the Cats. A rumour that the Saints are having a sniff too. What have they got to offer?

If we have to fill up with DFA’s we are definitely taking the piss and tanking.
Couple with that we may find ourselves on the receiving end of lower memeberships and a very very supported trajectory to Tasmanian.
Careful what you wish for, we can’t afford to bottom out like CarlTank or the GoDees.

Have you slept this week?

FFS - Cunners, Goldy, Higgo, Tarrant etc etc etc. They will all be linked with moves at some stage if only by question. The club has told all 30yo plus that if they want to leave and chase a flag the club will consider their request. Thats not quite the same as them all (or any) being on the trade table with the club wanting to get rid of then.
It's pretty close though from an external perspective - if indeed it is true that the club has told all the vets they can leave if they want to.

Jeepers - last player out please turn off the lights.

The thing is with the players that have left already, if the new squad numbers go down to 38+2, we're definitely drafting at least three, I believe we need to upgrade Zurhaar and apparently we need to find a spot for Corr... we actually don't have enough senior spots as it is to do those three things.

BEN BROWN (NM)

Draft picks:
Second-round pick
Value on open market: $550,000-650,000 per season

Rival clubs raised their eyebrows this week at North Melbourne's decision to place Brown on the table publicly. Others believe it will cost the Roos leverage at the bargaining table because he simply can't return to Arden Street. His agent Adam Ramanauskas told RSN on Friday it was a "staggering" call for a player who kicked more goals than any other across 2017-2019. The 27-year-old will have a number of interested parties, however, expect suitors to throw themselves into the Brown market once Joe Daniher and Jeremy Cameron make their calls. The Roos will need to rely on a bidding war to receive adequate compensation.

SHAUN HIGGINS (NM)

Draft picks:
Second-round pick
Value on open market: $400,000-500,000

Told to look elsewhere earlier this month if he wanted to secure his future on a two-year deal. The smooth-moving midfielder, who starts next year at 33, still has one year to run on his contract at the Roos but will weigh up a move elsewhere with Geelong keen and St Kilda registering its interest. His deal for next season at the Roos would be well in excess of $400,000 but another club may smooth it out over a second year to offer career security. It may also see the Roos pay a portion to ensure an adequate trade return.

JARED POLEC (NM)

Draft picks:
Second or third-round pick
Value on open market: $500,000-600,000

Still has three years and upwards of $1.6 million left on a front-ended contract he signed when crossing from Port Adelaide at the end of 2017. Finished seventh in last year's best and fairest but fell out of favour this season and was dropped twice. Provided they're looked after with a reasonable pick, the Roos would be willing to entertain offers for the 27-year-old wingman and pay some of his wage for next season. Now it's about finding the right suitor.

Kane Cornes king of hypocrisy on the Sunday Footy Show just then, going off at media pundits for spouting figures for Williams to Carlton and that number becoming gospel.

The crouch stuff we cant do anything about but the dogs getting JUH doesn't really affect us as we really weren't looking to draft him anyway. Just take him out of the equation are you're good.
