In the same boat. Kid starts her Netball “career” today at the ripe old age if 6.

Meet coach on Thursday, kid her usual enthusiastic self. Me to coach “she tries hard, she might be a bit behind at the start, but will pick it up well with her focus and improve quickly”

Coach, in her best Kiwi accent “with me coaching them, they don’t have a choice but to get good”. Plenty of ego there, not sure about the logic. They play at 12.30, “training is at 11.30, with nothing through the week. Umm…

Welcome back to junior sport after an almost 30year hiatus Dad. (I coached most of my kid’s teams back in the day, no accreditation or cards back then). Going to be a “fun” ride.

Hoping I can catch the replay and our 14 AFL listed lads put their hands up.
