Please for all supporters of the NMFC can you have another dream to the one you had a dream for a 6ft5 strong CHF that has skills on both sides of the body and kicks 60m bombs also ask for in your dreams a Fu:king hard Bas:ed Administrators to put the wind up people at are club that doing there job right and put heat on players and their managers this is now how this club is now run no more 5 year deals unless your name is Sheezel.
Hey, I have to write more than one letter to Penthouse

Well aren’t you a little ray of *in sunshine. Tbh the kpd line is potentially pretty good. We know what Logue can do and he’s still only 26. Comben looked brilliant in his one game there and W Dawson hasn’t even played enough for tao to call him a shitmen. Yeah we could stand to draft a KPD at the pointy end. Will be interesting to see what we make of Maley and Sellers.
It has been a sustained period of neglect so severe that players like Josh Walker have stayed on the list for multiple seasons and we’ve had to import Corr who’s an official shitman, Logue who’s a good player coming off an ACL now, Pink who’s underwhelming and Biggie who’s not really a KPD.

Dawson of the Kallan variety looks ok. Will is an 18 year old so revisit in five years.

Larkey is a gun, albeit limited. Comben is now a defender because the cupboard is ******* bare. Sellers is brand spanking new and Maley is as raw as uncooked eye filet.

It’s been an awful 3-4 years.

Yep, I'm not worried about the kpd stocks at all for the time being. The key forward stocks, however are a completely different story. We've been asleep at the wheel regarding kpf.

If we take the 1st pick and take another outside midfielder it will kill me.

We must trade this pick for a serious, culture builder. A Jack Viney type, a standard setter who does not accept this.

Dangle all of our draft picks this year for (one or both of) the following;

Good quality 100~gamer, 22-25 year old versions of;
  • Small/medium defender (think an Isaac Quaynor-type)
  • Contested marking specialist CHF (think a Jeremy Cameron-type)

Nick Vlaustin/Jack Viney both ones I’d give the 1 for.

If Thomas cleans himself up and the AFL give him the green light, is there a universe out there where we keep him? Losing him, and missing out on Reid is exposing us big time with a lack of big bodied midfielders.

TT is a huge loss. The other players couldn't stand him. Well maybe they could just put up with him in the interests of fielding a competitive team.
But one man should wear the blame for the continued refusal to draft big bodied mids.
Even Wardlaw and McKercher are small.
The game has gone a different way and we seem oblivious to it.
JHF and Reid would be handy mids right now...

I don't disagree with the demographic point you make, that we need some bigger bodies at the centre bounce, but you've got some inconsistencies in the rest of the argument.

Because... um, the one man who refuses to draft big bodied mids, did so - and that draft pick was JHF

Fair point Merlin! But he was one pick...and we let him go too easily IMO.

Goater maybe too. Sure we played him elsewhere but he could play midfield and get clearances as a draft prospect.

Still I agree with the general point and LDU losing his mojo and Thomas have both aggravated our clear problems in this area.

Anyway that 6ft 5 mid in this years draft looks tailor made for us, terrible kicking and all.
