The crazy thing about Head is that no-ones even really gone after him, they've just put away the bad balls. If Smith is dumb enough to give him another over he could concede over 30.

It's odd. Head was under bowled in the first match, so it was as if Smith was instructed to pump overs into him tonight to make up for it. Especially with no front line spinner. The thing is, Head is no more than part time poo, it's crazy that Lyon who is in the prime of his career is not being selected in ODIs.

Time to sort this fcukin batting order out as well. Cam White gets picked and bats at 7 when he's not a sloggers a$$hole.

Head and one of Stoinis/M.Marsh need to be dropped or 'rotated' out of the squad. The latter 2 are basically the same player and there is only place for one of those types.

Mate these odis have approx 1.1 to 1.2 million viewers australia wide and have almost $90 million bet on them at betfair.

That's definitely not rubbish, that's very good numbers. Most afl games dont come anywere near those numbers
1/ Because there is nothing else on.
2/ Since when did the amount of money bet on an event become the deciding factor whether its good or not?

We've lacked a bit of firepower with the ball. I feel like picking a long batting lineup rarely comes off, because if you get a big score, it's invariably because of a couple of players in the top 4.

Problem is picking a long batting order but not playing players in their right spot

The only player from 4-8 who can’t really go whack from ball 1 was at 7! Marsh can hit them but went into need to survive a bit longer mode and Head was useless.

It might have worked if White was 4, Head 6, Stoinis 7. But we’ll never know. Next game White will be dropped for Zampa. Not sure what they’ll do bowling wise, be harsh to drop Jhye but they’ll probably want to play the 3 NSW bowlers in Sydney! Smart move would be keep Hazlewood out for another and bring in Cummins for Tye

Smith captains by pre determined plans. He has no feel for the game. The bastard can obviously bat but he ain't a captains a-hole in my view

bring back Bailey as skipper for ODIs

Why does Smith bring Marsh on when its all over. Not the first time he's done this.

What is the point bowling him now?

Well there goes the shoulder injury theory

It's absolutely mystifying that he bowls Head and Finch before MMarsh, they have definitely cocked up not going with 4 strike bowlers

Probably would have won with our first choice bowling attack rather than this bunch
Really? The same bowling lineup that got spanked in Melbourne? I'm not even sure what our first choice lineup is they have rotated them that much and the players who have been in are not that good. Cummins keeps getting mentioned, but the last time he played a good ODI was against Ireland. He's been spanked in almost every match since and averages over 30, basically what an Allrounder should be averaging. Tye doesn't seem a right fit, Richardson is ok, but doesn't seem like the right person either. That 3rd bowling slot behind Hazelwood and Starc just can't be filled at the moment.
