Yeah, I reckon the only thing what will save him is that Sydney seems to be turning this year, and they'll want two spinners. Interesting that they were talking about Fawed Ahmed too, who despite consistently taking wickets has disappeared from the debate.

Holland had been preferred in the Shield this year. Which is a bit of a shame as Ahmed is one I had my eye on at the start of the season for a potential seat on the plane to India. But Holland has taken wickets, and presumably been bowling well. I haven't seen him much as my internet is so crappy I can only stream every now and then.
