I wouldn't expect him to spend too much time in the middle, most players in their first few games rarely are thrown in like that. In any case, he is also a valid goal threat with his strong hands and long kicks so he wouldn't exactly be wasted as a forward.

We've got to stick with him for the rest of the year. He fits in in terms of size and he had some good moments of skill. Plug him in the midfield and let him learn for the rest of the year. Play him on the best big midfielders for the rest of the season and see what happens.

had two embarassing moments - ran badly under a ball and let old man Goddard out the back leading to a goal and tried to handpass with his left in a tackle and looked really unco.
Other than that looked really good and kicked a beautiful long goal that not many can.

Thats an experience thing though, he looks like he has the best kick in the team though. I say blood him for the remaining 4 weeks and let him go full tilt next year
