This Australian team must be brain dead?
I mean they did the same dumb thing in Sydney on Day 5 bowling short crap all day long instead of trying to hit the top of off stump and have followed it up again and allowed the Indian tail to score at least 100 runs more than they should have by bowling way too short.
And as for Paine hopefully this is the last Test we have to put up with his dropped catches (6 in the series so far) and his DRS stuff ups, not too mention his poor field placements, how many times did they knick it straight to where 3rd slip should always be?!

Fair sooking going on here - get rid of Paine sack Langer - we are playing the number one test nation in the world - get a grip
a) NZ are #1
b) Have you seen who they are missing?

Agreed, but bouncers are a good way of setting them up for those balls. Definitely prone to overdoing them at times, but our fortunes only turned when we started intimidating Sundar and Sharkul.

You do not need to bowl short to ****ing bowlers to set them up. Just make them play at good balls

you are sounding like you are in charge of our strategy

India are 3rd in the world Test rankings, Australia & NZ are ahead of them.

Also, this isnt even the Indian team who are 3rd. This is their 2nd XI

IMO, the result of this Border Gavaskar series is worse than last time. Back then we at least had the excuses of a team in recovery/transition from sandpaper gate, being undermanned, losing the toss every match, etc. This time India are the ones who are severely undermanned, had to travel + quarantine and lost the first test which normally sets the tone for a series.

I couldn’t agree more. Paine is terrible with tactics, way too conservative and misses the obvious.
