I think Big bash does go a couple of rounds too long. We still play 10 shield games though. I think we lost this series due to a lack of depth in batting. We generally will have between 3 to 6 top class batsman, we probably have 4 at the moment, and two of them were injured (will p, and warner). Also lack depth in spinning, Lyons record is good against batsman who are over aggressive, not as good against Indians who face a lot of spin.
