When will someone at the club come out and state the obvious double standard when it comes to umpiring?

Giantroo could make a feature length film of the calls that go against us and then in the next passage of play are not called against the opposition.

This comp is a total farce while we actively have umpires making calls based on the team and not the actual piece of play.

It’s been said time and time again, the current rules are so grey that umpires can manipulate games whenever they please.

As much as Ross Lyon is a knob, you know he would at least call out the inequality.

The adjudication of the holding the ball today was inconsistently bad and only favoured one team.

If this club remains silent expect it to continue and for us to be an easy target for umpires to impact the contest when they feel like it.

That would be the 3rd or 4th North player concussed by deliberate actions of the opposition (LDU, Wardlaw...), and none of them have been deemed to have a case to answer. It didn’t happen once or twice, it was constant throughout the contest.

Geordie Payne was tackled high in open play in our F50 and the umpires just let it go.

It wasn’t even in congestion and with four you can’t tell me all four missed it?

They umpires us that way because we are shit and they think that everything we do is an error and that our opposition don’t make mistakes.

You can be inconsistent and bad, but it’s fishy when all the bad calls only impact one team.

If this game has has taught me anything, it's to play more of the young fellas who are hungry for the footy and hungry for a chance. We have too many mature players that obviously feel like they are in no danger of losing their spot and they need to learn. Larkey, Comben and Xerri are the only ones that should feel like that imo.

Additionally, in the off season, we need to do a heap of drills on being clean under pressure. So many times our guys get caught out breaking forward when they expect someone to just simply pick up the ball or catch an easy handball. If we can clean that up we will be in a lot more games.
