They will struggle this year. Obviously their midfield has quality, but not much depth. The forwards and defenders are battlers. They have a tough draw and a poor coach. Won't make the finals.

Re: Carlton Crap is What I Smell Them Cooking!

LOL at all these Carlton supporters. Remember you don't have Fevola anymore so your stuffed. What are your two short people Betts and Gartlett gonna kick all the goals for you LOL good luck with that.

You do remember that with Fev at the peak of his powers we finished last three times, right?

Our improvement didn't come from him, nor will his loss be our demise.

You have a decent midfield. Thats where it ends.

They might as well play kick to kick in the centre square.

As I recall Fev had no impact in either of our matches with Collingwood last season. One we won by 9 goals and the second time the result was reversed. Go figure.

Yep, taking the most in form full back in the league out of the match (Presti) can be categorized as "having no effect".:p

Franc, isn't there a baguette somewhere you should be eating?:D

Although over here we call them Le Coquette.

Re: Carlton Crap is What I Smell Them Cooking!

Carlton supporters have been doing the same thing for 10 years. Talking up their woeful list during pre-season to have their dirty smiles wiped clean come the home and away season, then theres the calling of sackings on talk back radio after games, crying etc, but thats another story.

A truly pathetic bunch of simpletons that are let down year after year, but keep going back for more. And i could not be happier about it.

I've seen Fevola's entire career and I can assure you that was no selfless display, he just couldn't get near it.

Yes, because you've really showed us what success is all about in our time of misery. Well done. :thumbsu:

Re: Carlton Crap is What I Smell Them Cooking!

My fave part of Saturday night was watching Henderson drop marks on the lead and Yarran continue to dissapoint. He is seriously shit.

Carlton are going to have a fun time trying to kick goals this season.

Watching their midfield get the ball and then almost stop dead at the 50 trying to find a target any target was gold

They would be alright if you got goals for having a head like a smashed crab. Mitch Robinson would be the Coleman Medalist.

What's even funnier is while you guys use the "1 flag in 50 years" comeback, you're only 2 flags ahead of us.:D

Yeah, we'll need to dig out the old 8mm to find the other 13GF wins
I still have 8 good looking DVDs for the Carlton Grand Final wins though. Interested?

I don't see how you can find being two premierships behind your most hated rival as funny. Seriously.

At this rate it'd take you another 100 years to catch us, yet you seem proud of this.

next to your collection of wooden spoons for the most unsuccessful era in fooball history???

at least collingwood has 14 untainted premierships....

-i remember quite vividly the sanctions imposed on the scum for salary cap breaches - something which your pathetic lot are still paying for today..
-and i cant recall our last 2 premierships having any question marks attached to them unlike the b-lose...

whether you like it or not your last 2 flags were bought.. also, i can confidently say that carlton is the next of the big 4 to go on a 50 year drought... the one difference is collingwood will still be collingwood while carlton might become the next university or fitzroy?

if find it funny you are proud of the 16 flags that include under the table dealings, sever salary cap breaching (which in essence paid for an extra elite player) and a goal from a play that anyone with one eye could see was over the boundary line that won you a game you should have lost....

No, I think it's funny that you bag us and call us unsuccessful, and then proudly say you are two flags ahead of us.

u know whats the funniest of all, in the last ten years we have had so much good footy to watch, many finals and some great successful players!

carlton has played how many finals....?????? dud players everywhere!!

maybe u should play district footy maybe there could be some success there with ur shitful list!

we have almost the youngest list, with many you guns still yet to peak!!

we only gunna get better!!!!!!

do you like to bag other sides to deflect attention away from the rabble that has become your own club? the most unsuccessful club in the 1st decade of the century, 1 premiership in the last 22 years, 1 finals match in the last 9 years and even then embarassed by giving up a 6 goal lead in the last quarter, lack of leadership on and off the field, and about to take a massive nosedive down the ladder after giving away their only true avenue to goal. hell they might even snag another spoon to go with the impressive collection they have accumulated in the last decade (and if you think i'm kidding have a look at the draw for the 1st 9 weeks)

i'd suggest that carl fans have nothing to be smug about heading into 2010, either to coll supporters or to anyone else for that matter.
