The possibilities are:

1)
Out: Kelly
In: Murray
Sub: Hately

2)
Out: Kelly, Berry
In: Murray, Hately
Sub: Berry

3)
Unchanged
Sub: Murray or Hately

4)
Out: Berry
In: Hately
Sub: Murray or Berry

My money is on option 1 or 2. Calves are not to be messed with so Kelly should miss at least 1 or 2 games.

All signs point to Lynch, Walker, Hamill, McAdam and Smith being passed fit to play but it’s not beyond the realms that one of them might be ruled out late, which would throw the magnets around a bit.

Frampton survives, which was obvious from Nicks’ presser.

Fog gets another chance to cement a spot prior to the return of Sloane and Crouch.

Rowe and McHenry would want to play well or Pedlar will be eyeing a spot in the next fortnight.

If Berry retains his spot, he just needs to find the ball a little bit more. I hope we persist there because the tackling is a genuine weapon.

I do get a laugh from much of the self flagellation on this board, but I found this one a baffling call.

Sure Frampton isn't a mid, but he'd be better in both other aspects than Greenwood. That's not bagging Greenwood. But he's just not what you are suggesting he is or could be.

Frampton isn’t better than Greenwood at anything

I'd be livid if they dropped Berry, for a start it would make us weaker. Yes he needs to find the pill more, but he's just learning his craft as an 18 year old. On the other hand he's laying 8-10 crunching tackles a week, you can't replace that easily.
You can replace him with a player that provides you with run and carry.

Yeah and who then does the grunt work Berry is doing?

However, Jake Kelly will be assessed on game day to see whether he's fit

Nicks obviously extended the same curtesy he does to Tom Lynch and asked the players if they were able to make a call on their selection this week.

You know what I was thinking after watching the first three quarters against North Melbourne last week?

That the answer to such a terrible display of football is backing the boys in to respond

Jenny snapped at me when I posted as such last week.

Look mate, you just need to learn that backing the boys in is a really successful strategy that has worked for us over the last decade to great effect
