Corey Wagner was originally recruited as an inside mid. Wonder if he can add some size, speed and dynamism in there. Better then putting an injury prone skinny guy like Switta in there full time.
Size? He's about 5 foot

Poor decision making. Running around in circles trying to think of something to do that looks flashy but then getting caught. That lazy kick in the third quarter with no pressure caused turnover resulting in a goal.Explain dropping Henry too me? He was one of the only guys that provided any run.
We got smashed around the ball, that’s not his doing.
Yeah .he isn't as tall as I thought. Solidly built though. Got some muscles and doesn't mind a scrapSize? He's about 5 foot

Tabs goes. He is cooked and has never been able to play selflessly. We have Darcy, Amiss, Tabs, Jackson in the team. One has to go. IMO it's Jackson. Either him or Tabs. But Jackson going sends a very clear message that the clubs has the ability to make some tough decisions and mediocrity won't be accepted. Bring in a forward that can create opportunities.
You have to go with youth, Tabs has had a good career at Freo from where he came from.We have Darcy, Amiss, Tabs, Jackson in the team. One has to go. IMO it's Jackson. Either him or Tabs. Think that was obvious from Longmuir's post match, interested in who gets the nod as the replacement. Talking about NOD he is a certainty but knowing our coaching staff that might be where the changes stop (I am guessing Hughes and Tabs out). I don't dislike anyone who plays for Fremantle but I just have no faith in any improvement until Hughes and Banfield are not seen as best 22. AND if we are getting smashed in the midfield you have a midfield bull in Erasmus waiting for a crack.Taberner goes
Watching live at the game I had a totally different impression. Henry does make mistakes sure everyone out there fu%%%% up several times but I like that he has more time than previous years, is looking for good kicks and making them more often than not. The entire team is shitting themselves in front of goal but I see more development potential in Henry than Hughes or Banfield but I would also like a look at Sturt again for an extended period of time.I don't think Liam Henry will make it as an AFL footballer. We are projecting things that just aren't there because of his high draft selection and profile.
His skills are over rated, he isn't evasive and has poor goal sense. We expect him to be a kosiah Pickett, brad hill, Sonny Walters he just doesn't seem to have the X factor.
Cost a goal in the last with that ridiculous centre, cost a goal in the first, by picking out the only defender among a sea of dockers forwards.
Slightly built high skilled players get given time to develop and rightfully so but from day dot in their limited touches they show their skills. We just haven't seen it with Henry.
The appropriate comparison is Wanganeen-Milera who has shown much more at this stage with less game time.I don't think Liam Henry will make it as an AFL footballer. We are projecting things that just aren't there because of his high draft selection and profile.

Where's the hurt factor though. Kicks lack penetration and doesn't hit the scoreboard. If I'm an opposition player and there's a 50/50 ball 70m from goal is be more concerned by an overweight, stoned Junior Rioli with a bottle of Gatorade in one hand the Liam Henry ATM.Watching live at the game I had a totally different impression. OUT: Tabs, Hughes, JOM, Wilson, Jackson, Brodie
IN: Sturt, Traecy, MJ, Ras, Noddy, Walker
His kicking action also sucks. Always looping, never penetrating or flat. His kicking I50 is always high and so easy for opposition to track down and spoil or mark.Yeah I have to say I was baffled with the good reviews about Henry after the St Kilda game. He was getting the ball more so that's a positive, but his decision making was just so poor. He's not a kid anymore, it's his 4th year in the system.
Have a look at Hill, and how he plays at the Pies.Lacks pace, skills and decision making. Delist
the glaringly obvious change that needs to happen will not. Taberner must go, he is simply poison in the fwd line. id rather try Corbett up there than him.
second to go that will not is Jackson, any other player throwing up his numbers would be dropped immediately.
this club makes me sick

There are signs. He just needs to iron a few things out and show more defensive pressure intent. Only 2 tackles and 12 pressure acts.Watching live at the game I had a totally different impression.
