My educated guess on the final team list to be announced today:

Ryan Pearce Young
Clark Cox Wilson
O'Driscoll Jackson Aish
Walters Amiss Frederick
Schultz Tabs Switkowski

Darcy Brayshaw Serong

JOM Chapman Banfield Henry/Hughes (not sure which one of these two makes it though I obviously hope it's Henry)

Joel Corey interviewed now on sport fm. Doesn't seem to keen on giving the young players a go due to them struggling to apparently run out a full afl game.

Just excuses
Sounds like Freo under Ross Lyon in 2012-15. Yeah we chose the likes of Nick Suban, Matt De Boer and Clancee Pearce every week over the young blokes but those blokes had the endurance to run out 4 quarters.

And Ross Lyon could get away with it as we won games most weeks and made Finals.

I watched Darcy Wilmott at Marvel last night, pick 16 in 2021, same draft as Raz and Jonno.
He was one of the best players on the park, full of energy and hard running and smart link up play.
I think he’s played about 7 games in his career so far but is a lock in the 22 of a supposed flag fancy.

If he was drafted by us, 100% certain he would not have played a game yet.
Yep.....

And it stinks of the time Freo had Chris Connolly as coach from 2002-07.

Again.... Just look at our 2003 draftees. All of them didn't debut until 2005. Yep this class had the likes of Ryley Dunn , David Mundy and Michael Johnson.

Again.... Those 2005 draftees who were the likes of Marcus drum Garrick Ibbotson and Rob Warnock, didn't play a game in 2006. They spent 2006 in the WAFL. All 3 had their debut games in 2007.

Last year isn’t really a comparison. We only just scraped over the line against Adelaide in Adelaide and we were beaten by the Saints at home.

This year we were made look pretty hopeless against a Saints team that was arguably in worst condition than it was last year and then we got beaten, at home mind you, against North. NORTH!

If there was some indication that changes were being made to rectify the issues then I would feel more optimistic, but this is now the 3rd week in a row where there have been minimal to no changes to the obvious weakness in the club (the forward line in case it wasn’t clear).

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, we are r losing on Sunday, we’re losing on Thursday night. I fear, if this ship ever does get corrected, it will be too late. Hence, the season is a write off.

Well if your confident the dockers will lose on Sunday, then do what I am gonna do and throw $40 or $50 on the eagles then lol

It was fun because the expectations were low and there was less accountability.

We've been in the comp long enough. And yes we've been unlucky at times but there's been plenty of opportunities to get our s**t together. It's a good thing the fans are demanding high standards.
Collingwood fans are having fun & they've been around a bit longer than us

You know what, I may just do that. I was gunna put $100 on North last week when I saw the team selection and that the Roos were paying 6 bucks and didn’t do it. #R#REgrets

Will Brodie dropped, wow

Pleasantly surprised with Amiss, had 3 disposals and 0 goals vs Banfield with 16 and 1. Still reckon both Banfield and Amiss should be playing WAFL and Sturt should be in the team

Don't mind Brodie being dropped - they clearly need a jump start in the middle and he's probably had the worst start to the year out of the mids that play inside. Interesting to see how all of Hughes, Henry and Drizz fit in. Next week I can see one of those guys coming out for Brodie assuming one of them has a down game

Happy - Drizzy and Johnson

Harsh - Brodie, but a mid needed to be dropped

But how does Hughes keep his spot
I predicted Brodie as an out. Has been below average for first two games and isn’t a good midfield mix at the moment.

If Hughes isn’t playing his part we can sub him out for Johnson in the second half of the third quarter.
