Id go Logue to Kennedy. Hughes to Darling and Cox to Allen. That way Cox can go for his marks more and intercept. If Cox doesn't get up then Chapman goes to Allen.

The conversation is around the set up sans Cox. Obviously you’d use Cox for one of their talls if he’s available.

Allen would slaughter young Chappie too. He’s not playing a full on defender role yet and Allen would be way too strong for him.

Let's win this one...we can do it.
Fyfe stays in the middle all night to bash the piss poor feebles midfield to oblivion.
Meek is the man to take on Fatanui...his second efforts will nullify and I believe he is better suited to do that than Darcy.
Darcy is a gun up forward. He can kick goals, clunk marks and create for the smalls. Lobb is currently a hopeless kick for goal and average at best ruck. Meek is far superior.
Lobb might need to be used in defence with Cox out. Not ideal...yep. But he is probably our best floating defender option in desperate times.
Sturt for Treacy? Maybe...so...

Meek in the ruck
Darcy forward
Lobb back for Cox
Sturt for Treacy

Smash them in the guts...
Stretch them up forward...
Pray we can defend against Darling Kennedy and Allen

Zero crowds..or the game in Melbourne. If north get exemptions, both WA clubs could for the next game.

The AFL will be monitoring what's happening here. If there's more cases today, there's a chance the footy will be cancelled here even with zero crowds. Play the game at the home of football.
No way would AFL have a derby in another state. Funny, west coast at their worst about now. But they’re not a bubble team, if it comes to that again. Derby at Marvel Stadium would be delightful.

I think its possible we can play Meek and Darcy and Lobb at the expense of Traecy. West Coast play 2 ruckman. It would be a similar set up to the game against Hawthorn where we had Darcy and Treacy and Taberner up forward.

One thing last night was the low number of tackles recorded inside our forward 50m. Some of it was because we were quite efficient getting shots on goals from entries but North Melbourne on the way out had a lot of easy ball movement with short kicks that got them up past the centre.

It didn't translated into scores for them because they had nothing much up forward, but the coach did mention that he didn't think we defended very well - and I'm thinking that he wasn't referring to the back 6.

Maybe we're looking for more pressure on the ball carrier this week, and that might mean we go shorter.

Bet you anything he doesn't give two shits about AFL, just went with the team his Rockingham electorate mainly support.
That's some lovely cynism there, top marks.

You're most likely right. Politicians would cheer on the Coffin Cheaters if they thought it would get them votes

Rory Lobb

You pick your best 12 or so and back them in. Like it or not Lobb is an elite mark and a player we are screaming out for. He consistently marks around 4 a game and boots .7 goals, which may not seem much on face value, but if you are going with rucks - then look around : Gawn averages 5 marks a game and .5 goals for the past 7 years, Grundy 3.5 at .4 goals a game. Nicnat - about 1.5 marks and .3 goals a game. This year, these figures are different, but Grundy and Gawn have had down games this year. I will grant the 3 mentioned are dedicated rucks, but most would assume they get better figures running around the ground freely.

Lobb is coming back from injury and a good day for Rory Lobb will get us 7 marks (mostly contested) and 3 goals. And you win the match. There is no discussion in my mind that a fit Lobb is in the team. He is a ruckman, that wants to be a forward. Longmuir has told him he is in the team if he can perform ruck duties, if he cannot, he is not a part of the line up. As a forward\ruck we should be thankful to have him. Meek would struggle to get a game in any team in the AFL, Lobb would find a role in any team IMO.

Think Darcy will break the wheel.
