It has nothing to do with lack of respect.they have zero respect for us.
One would think this might motivate the team, but probably not

More likely that they have respect for their own system/players, have been planning this since the fixture came out as responsible player management, and believe they can win against anybody no matter who they put out.
The Pies are masters at these sorts of games. If it was anyone else, I would back us in for the bounce back win after a loss, then stink it up next week, rinse and repeat. But Collingwood is one side who I think can sort us out no matter what.
Reckon this week will be another for the "Rhys Stanley" thread. My tip is someone who usually does nothing much like Membrey will kick 4 or 5 goals.
Erasmus playing in the guts, probably tagging Daicos. We know what Brodie can do and his shelf life is limited due to his tank. Young out for maybe the season so it'd be rotating Ras, Johnno & even Jackson through there for the next 5 weeks at least. After that if it fails, bring in Brodie or see if Reid is ready.Who would people prefer - Brodie or Erasmus in this week for Young?
I’d go with…
In - Brodie, Simpson, Voss
Out - Young, Draper, Narkle
I’m not one who always says Brodie should come in, but why not at this point. At least we know he’ll get first hands on the ball and he adds the size we need.
I’d also give Jackson stints as a mid, and give Wagner the tagging job on Daicos.
Simpson is in to give some run and unpredictability off half back, and it seems everyone can see we’re too tall down back. Although the big move I’d like to see is Ryan being taken off kick outs.
And Narkle is unlucky after two games as the sub, but I’d bring Voss back in the sub role. He might get himself reported when he finally comes on, but he’ll bring the energy others don’t.
Confirmed
It's now a no win game for Jlo. We lose, it's pitchforks, win and it doesn't count. Swings and round abouts for other teams aren't taken into consideration.State-wide pitchfork shortages if/when we drop this one.
****, I’m having difficulty finding enthusiasm for this game…last weekend really did a number on me.

GWS have Geelong away so barring an upset there, the Giants will have a mouth guards in at training week ready for us the following Saturday.
Cool story bro.they have zero respect for us.

I certainly dont care. And if we win, i'll actually feel sick, knowing we'll likely spud it up the following week. Win or loss this weekend it'll just feel like nothing. Hard to be excited knowing we can never back up strong performances.YepI think we're all feeling the same.
They also literally do bugger all travel.Cool story bro.
Could also be a 5 day break with travel. They have enough wins on board to gamble with this one. It's not about lack of respect, it's just a willingness to drop an away game for the benefit of the season as a whole.
