Yeah scratch that Gilmore part...would rather Bradley even though he was woeful. Maybe worth it to tank better though, although with our team atm losing isn't a problem.

What's the go with Sandilands.......how bad was is "Hamstring" injury?

In:
Pav,Headland,Sandilands,Pratt,Pearce

Out:
Peake,Murphy,Bradley,Suban,Hinkley

The want to rest the young players. I'd give Suban this week off then bring him back the following one. The guy is a gun and i hope he plays most of the games this year. Pearce and Pratt will give us a better defence and Pav and Des go straight into the fwrd line. Ruffles will shine when he has a couple of guns up fwd who no how to lead and find space. Peake is not good enough and i've run out of patience.

Probably picked the worst time to join bigfooty, still fuming from the debacle last night.

Preferrably I'd like to see something like this.

IN
Pearce
Pratt
Pav (if fit)
Sandi (if fit)

OUT
Murphy
Bradley
Mundy
Peake

Walters I reckon is one or two good games away in the WAFL. Van Berlo as well could get a run later in the season. Hinkley needs an extended run in the side. In all likelihood Mundy and Peake are safe considering we have no one to bring in for them. Dodd wont be dropped because he had a few touches (despite the fact most of them were ineffective). Pretty much highlights how shit our team is atm. I'm half expecting Murphy not to get dropped if Pav isn't ready, simply because we have no other semi decent big forwards.

These last 2 months are going to hurt.

To people who want Hinkley dropped, I suggest you ask for a tape of the entire ground so you can see his hard running. Same with Murphy. He was ignored about 10 times on the lead, once he was 5m on his man in empty space and McPharlin chipped sideways. When the ball doesn't come in at all, it is hard for Murphy to do anything useful. That applies to Ruffles to, but atleast Murphy chased unlike McPharlin.

Hinkley was 200% better than Suban. So what if he doesn't throw himself into a contest, atleast he can dispose of the ball. Suban can kick, but his decision making is absolutely appalling. I know he's just a kid, but he needs to be dropped back to the WAFL to get some confidence back because he's absolutely low on it, probably 4th worst on ground.

Hinkley runs around like a headless chook...he can't kick, he can't break tackles, he has no football brain whatsoever.

Murphy OMG where do I start

So what's news on Sandilands guys.....will he be fully fit v the WCE without Cox.

It would be interesting if both sides were without their #1 ruckmen!

Harvey forecast up to three changes to the side that lost to Adelaide by a record–equalling 117 point in round 15, with one of those changes forced by injury to an unnamed player. However, the side's seven first-year players from Saturday night's game are all safe and Harvey said that number would rise to eight against the Lions with rookie-elevation Clancee Pearce earning a recall.
Pearce debuted against Port Adelaide in round 11 and backed up against Geelong a week later before injuring a hamstring.
"We thought when he was in the side before he got hurt that he was a pretty good player for us," Harvey said.
Harvey said his middle-tier players would be in the gun at selection and he challenged the side to redeem itself after registering just 1.7 (13) last week – the lowest VFL/AFL score since 1961.

GREAT news about Pearce, and harv's aiming at the middle tier players.... THATS right Mr MUNDY

Up to three changes would suggest that the only possible inclusions this week will be Pearce, Pavlich and Sandilands. And I think by middle-tier players, Harvs would have been referring to Dodd, Thornton, Peake, Murphy and Bradley. Not Mundy.

Pearce - Thornton/Dodd
Pavlich - Murphy
Sandilands - Bradley

Does anyone have any ideas as to who the injured player is? I don't remember anybody coming off injured against Adelaide, or anybody struggling during the game.

Sandi and Pav HAVE to play. I don't give a **** if they've got a broken bloody leg. We just can't have a repeat of that debacle at home.

Although it's good to see someone come from the WAFL that actually deserves a spot on merit.

Agree on the debacle, but why should they play if they aren't fit? Leave them out. Give the rest of the team the challenge to redeem themselves without the big guns and see how they go about it.

Are you on drugs??? Hinkley is not a great kick and his attack on the ball is non existant. What is the point of him running around like a dog off a leash if he does not have the heart to not only get the ball but tackle for it. When he does get it (which is rarely) he certainly does not put the opposition under pressure.

Hinkley OUT! We still may get something for when we trade for him. He has shown NOTHING in every game he has played. He is softer than Mundy!!!:thumbsd:

Suban to remain in, he shows more heart that all of the mid range players put together.:thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Ballantyne seemed to be the only player who suffered any sort of injury last Saturday but it seems that he's retaining his spot. It looks like the only possible "ins" are Gilmore, Foster, Pearce, Pratt and Walters. If we're only adding one more first year player you would think Pearce to be the most likely. No problem finding two to leave out plus the injured one. Pick any two of Solomon, Murphy, Bradley, Peake, Grover. Only problem there is the possible inclusions are mainly smalls.

What a pathetic post. Why would you trade a guy in his second season, who has according to you done nothing... but is worth something. Do you even read what you write?

Who cares if Suban shows heart, so does the captain of the Amateur league teams, doesn't mean they are good enough to play AFL.

Hey I know, why don't we play Sibosado!!!! He's the saviour of the earth...
