The thing with Neade is yes he does chase and put some pressure on, we saw him with 3 efforts in a row last night , but it doesn't get results.

And it certainly doesn't get results to make up for all his deficiencies. Most of those times you see him chasing for naught result is as a result of him ****ing up moments before. He is always chasing to try to make up for losing contest after contest.

Yes it does because we are still a very good chance for top 8 and finals. If selection committee get some balls and have a serious think about our issues they might make the changes that actually address our issues and make us stronger come finals.

Out: Neade, In: Atley - Wingard to play mostly forward and Atley to play mostly on ball. Neade, thanks for your time. 2013 versus West Coast at home was a treat to watch but you've gone nowhere in the 4 years since.

Out: White, In: Howard/Eddy - Can't drop all of Neade/White/Impey and Impey st least has the most promise so keeps his spot (barely) on that. Trengove to play up the ground where he's done his best work this year and spend very little time i50 where he has been invisible this year. Haven't watched Maggies the last few weeks so whoever out of Eddy or Howard in better form to play key forward at AFL to come in.

I started typing mine out but it amounted to 6 changes and we all know that won't happen. I've had enough of watching the same unreliable players piss away winnable games and chances to cement a top 4 spot.

It's telling that we're all on the same page when it comes to selections but the coaching panel would rather play on the Young, Tuompas and Neade merry go round.

I will mention 2 players that really got under my skin last night though.

Pittard for some of the laziest efforts I've ever seen, he's checked out and needs to spend the rest of the year in the SANFL. Had a chuckle to myself during the 3rd, he was pointing at a Richmond player and yelling at DBJ to man up, ball comes straight down from the ball up and Pittard's man goals completely unchecked. If i was DBJ i would've given him a nice slow clap for that "effort"

Westhoff...what is his actual position on the ground? Casually jogging down the wings being unaccountable all game puts us at a huge disadvantage from the get go. Definition of a gold pass.

A couple of player positions that need to be corrected as well. Boak is an inside mid, not a half forward, Trengove is a KPD, not a forward and the fact that he is keeping genuine forwards out of our side because "oh noes too tall down there" is an absolute joke.

**** SANFL stats, this side needs a refresh and a message needs to be sent to players who have continually let us down when the going gets tough. 6 changes or i melt.

Perhaps it a thought. Impey showed a lot of spunk when shifted to the defence later in the game. This obviously shows that he ain't a forward. Keep him there for the Eagles game and see what Houston can do as a forward. Footnote: Houston came to the club as a small forward with a dead eye dick approach to kicking goals.
Other omissions, Hartlett's injury should keep him out. Pittard - surprisingly took two great pack marks but his general play was rubbish, Neade, the experiment has not worked. Those to me are the definite omissions.

Talking a about experiments, Ken this year has played players at times whose careers are on a knife edge, namely Toumpas, Young, Ah Chee, Neade, Johnson and White. In most cases these players have not returned the faith that Ken has showed in them. Perhaps I'm a bit over the top with Johnson and White.
I'm not including Eddy as an "experiment" as his non selection after 3 games still baffles me, especially as his Magpies form is excellent.
It's now time to consider players like Eddy, Howard, Palmer, Marshall, Atley, Billy and Drew. A player who does not fit into that group is Monfries but who should also be considered as his career is also on a knife edge.

There is no way a Fos Williams, Jack Cahill, or even Choco, would continue to select a player, ie Pittard, who it appears has more interest in watching the calendar, than the ball, or his opponent.

As others have said `he has checked out, ' and has become an even bigger liability now than when he was giving up multiple goals per game with his non stop turnovers.
I suspect he is being gifted games because the coach doesn't want to piss him off, and if so it's little wonder he is only going through the motions.

I suspect now that I am not the only bloke who couldn't care less if he was the first player out the door at seasons end.

The form ( or more to the point the lack of it ) of DBJ is a concern as well, his exuberant attack on the ball has all but disappeared this season, and he is fast returning to the average player he was at the Maggies in 2015 before necessity saw him plucked from obscurity.
