Just heard that Dan Andrews is flying to the grand final on a private plane and will not be in quarantine.

How too faced is that. Whilst us all are in lockdown.
Yeah sure mate.

Literally works over 100 days in a row during a pandemic and will disappear for a few days for a meaningless game of football.

If you listened to his press conference on Sunday he clearly specified that restrictions would be in place for the GF and fans would need to not go to mates places to watch the game - would be massively hypocritical for him to break his own lockdown rules.

He would know that this would be political suicide -and he is smarter than that.

Furthermore - he is an Essendon supporter anyway, why would he want to go for this game?

This rumour is less believable than the David Glascott masturbating monkey rumour.

I'm sure there are dozens, if not hundreds, of morons currently getting outraged at this story on flat earth/Covid denier/5G fearmonger message boards. It absolutely beggars belief.

The original Q must sit at home laughing his head off at what has transpired since he first posted about Hillary getting detained.

If said mate has a long extension cord and puts his tele outside then it's game on

Unlikely. Would be an enormous slap in the face to every Victorian and the public and media outcry would destroy him.

No chance. Most likely Liberal party doing their usual to undermine the Government by spreading made-up bullshit. OP is either one of them, or extremely gullible.
The Liberals aren't having to do anything to undermine the Victorian Labor government, they are just having to sit back and watch the sh*t show happen

If we are going to be making it partisan, the entire current issue is caused by the government spreading something into the community first.

But if he wants to go to the GF then good on him, his voters will decide if that "passes the pub test"

That would have been a good strategy, perhaps they should have done that.

Most of the year in lockdown, the only state, caused by a Government failure and most Victorians don't even know the Liberal leader's name. You couldn't dream this ineptitude.

Does it really matter?

When it comes time to vote most people will just be making sure the box they put put the number 1 down in isn't Dan Andrews

Yes it matters in lots of ways.

The LNP have less than half the seats Labour does, they would need to win more seats than they currently have to win, and that is two years away.

The absence of an effective opposition is one reason why we have such a sh*t show at the moment and a Government that essentially does as it pleases.

People won't vote Andrews out if they know they are voting in a clown show.
