Pretty sure bocce is an Olympic sport....

EDIT: Upon research, its not. There is quite a large bocce movement to get it to the Olympics. I don't see why not, it gets a lot of coverage late at night.

It's possible that Chaplin made the decision to delete it himself. I don't think you can automatically presume it was the club's directive.
