Brendon Goddard has been informed by Essendon he will not be offered a contract for 2019.

Still assessing his options for next year at this early stage.

Been superb for Essendon in a period that’s been impossibly difficult through no doing of his own. Cheers BJ

Much love. Won the B&F in his first year and hasnt finished outside the top five in any year. Captain in 2016. Hugely strong leader just when we needed one.

Depends what his philosophy is on playing football.

Obviously there was no gaurantee staying at the saints would have meant a premiership either.

He might enjoy the fact he got to experience two big clubs, two different cultures, might have widened his scope on football.
