Absolutely, the guy is our best player by a mile. He's our only player that could even be considered elite at this stage and deserves to be paid at least as much as Hanners and Hill. Hopefully it's front loaded and we pay it off before the kids come on though. Big long term contacts haven't been good for a few clubs.

I'm not sure there's much wiggle room left in the cap for meaningful front loading but last year Gags said the same about the kids and l do trust that he's a pro in that regard.

Steele, took a hit in his last contract he took unders. I am sure he is fully compensated for that. this time round.

Could realistically see him being All Aus for all of those next 5 years and hopefully win a Brownlow.
