Asked the same question earlier in the thread as I thought that would be the case, but listed as a "non-free agent" on Footywire which is a cause of confusion.

Yes that’s the irony.

People getting all bitter and twisted and taking it personally because Keanes decision apparently hurt the club. Or maybe it was the clubs decision to not pick him up upon return that hurt. News alert.. premiership… we survived. There was no hurt. The trade and salary cap debacle of 2020 is proof you can regather quickly . There’s no premiership given out on trade night.

If he’s the best choice to be brought back to improve us going forward, then the past is all water under the bridge.
