Will go down as one of the Club's greats, a brownlow medallist who gave it his absolute all and bled for the Club. Has undoubtedly been a scapegoat for this board and for some fans, and whilst his form this past year has tallied right off (and therefore him being selected was validly queried), I think it's fair to say the guy did not deserve the abuse he received on here, particularly given he is one of the more selfless and good-hearted blokes in footy; someone who the players all loved.

Congrats Pridda on being a great player, and in addition a top bloke. Hope he sticks around at the club in some capacity to mentor and teach the young kids to win the contested ball, tackle hard and be great inside midfielders like he was.

Despite the criticism he copped it's a sad day for the club.

Thankyou Matt for your years of hard work and dedication you showed to the jumper

Loved how he went about his footy. Not the most talented player going around, but don't think too many from any club worked harder than him on and off the field.

Hopefully we all remember him as the bloke who carried our midfield for a few years and deservedly won a Brownlow, the highest individual honour there is.

Selflessly retiring when he had another year shows great loyalty to the club.

A true warrior for the blue and gold. Amazing what he achieved with his athletic limitations. Total committment and will be remembered for this final selfless act with the club's best interests in mind. Wanted to play at the new stadium more than anyone I reckon and has given that up so WCE can progress.

Thanks Matt.
