I might be watching the game a bit differently because I thought that first half, whilst scappy as f***, was frentically paced in what seems to be the modern game style. Skills lacking but pace was hectic.

Carlton do also appear to be the new Bulldogs/freekickhawthorn so we can be assured the AFL must really want them to do well this season.
