Weightman nailed 3 straight in the first 5 minutes on At's last year....just following on from there. Would have thought that they would work out to get a hard body on him and hold up his run up would be the way to approach him.

We asked the AFL for the rights to this game over 30 years ago.
When Melbourne were copping 10 goal drubbings to Collingwood on the Queens Birthday were any of them saying that they don’t deserve to play in that match?
We should be playing Carlton in this match, not the dogs.
Makes sense given both clubs proximity to the hospital plus a large crowd would be guaranteed every year.
Plus we always play well against Carlton.

Firstly, Atley was probably on the list about 2-3 years too long. Secondly, what would be the point of putting a hard bodied player on him? He'd just start throwing his head back and waving his arms around, like he did, and drawing another free kick. It would all be a non issue if the centre square work didn't relate to us getting smashed. Thats the main problem at the moment. We look like Aus kickers in there.
