I'm very keen on regaining Lockyer after a year off... is there really that much interest, or can we go with a system where if no-one opposes you taking a player, you can claim them?

I believe Skeetz is aiming for a fair-go for all.

I'm beginning to get some inspiration as regards Chris Dawes. But no one will ever replace Rocca.

All interested parties should get an AFL player. Some of us had to take 2 players last year.

I think the best idea though is for people to choose players on a first come, first serve basis. I hope that will mean that people really actually want the player that the choose, and if we only get 10-15 buddy reporters, then so be it. Quality over quantity I reckon.

I think you're right and that we should run with an automatic player-assignment system, unless conflict arises. We're all reasonable posters, aren't we?

I'll make the first bid. I'd like to report on Chris Dawes, but if anyone else wants him, I'd be happy with several other players, so just speak up.

I think if a person can put together a good argument for why they should have a certain player, then that should be OK.

I'd love to do one for Travis Cloke, but if whoever had him last year wants him again that's cool. I was hopeless with Ryan Cook last year and I apoligize for that, really shouldn't have taken a VFL player as I didn't go to any games. But yeah, because of my effort last year I'm happy to opt out if we have enough.
