Have been watching him predominantly on the wing for the Maggies for last 6 weeks or so. Is getting a lot more of the ball and doing nice things with it in general play including regularly hitting up Frampton. 3 years may be a little bold, but I’m glad we have kept him

Glad he has signed on big talent lovely left leg. Brad Johnson who has alot to do with the kids coming through said he was the best kick in the country for his age and draft.

I think they have been spooked by Amon.

Bonner is a South Aussie so they feel more secure but they know how thin our depth of outside players is.

It seems like one change in our recruiting strategy in recent times is to get better kicks.

We need more elite kicks in the team and this kid is (with Dan Houston) our best shots for goal

I expect him to play alot more AFL footy next year

So where do we foresee him playing AFL for us?

Does he continue in that crumbing small forward role? Move to the half back flank where he played his junior footy? With his burst of speed and agility, could he play on ball? Perhaps on wing or half forward flank delivering it inside fifty?

Amusing since we all thought we would go light since the draft was considered shallow. Vaguely remember the bigfooty podcast going from elation at the Hayes pick to "ahhh what" at the last couple (especially being on the flankey side of things)
