And someone here put it succinctly - Motlop is icing. In a cohesive side playing well - he's gold. Motlop in a side with Gaz, Stringer and an improved parfitt, cocky etc. he becomes the player we remember circa 2013

Nothing wrong with optimism. I think it is doable if we release the players I suggested via trade

Do not want.......he's played 42 games out of a possible 90 odd since 2014.

Yeah preety much. Was ok in 2015. But if we get him we're gonna play him.
If fit I'd still have him in for Parsons and prob Simpson right now.
If we didn't play Black in the back half of this year when he was in good form in the VFL I can't see the club playing him at all anymore.

I think we've been pretty harsh on Black up until now

Yeah I though he was hard done by when they dropped him. His first game this year against Saints he had 21 disposal 7 Marks and kicked 2.1, so he was given another 2 games then the Gold Coast loss he had 15 disposals 5 marks and kicked 2 from only 48 inside 50s. I would have kept him in the side or at least brought him back much sooner than round 15.

Lang GHS and murdoch or stanley out is not a mass exodus out it's continuous improvement.
