Ok... he's finally announced he's on his bike. So where will he go?

By responding to the poll, give your suggested "fair trade" to club you think he'll go to.

yeah i reckon pies. the money is there and he said he wanted to leave for finals, if he goes to a richmond, he will look unloyal and selfish for taking the money. yeah richmond might make it next year but richmond isnt the best finals deal out there.

1st collingwood MUST do a trade before hand to gain a 1st/2nd round pick. perhaps something like mcgough and betheras for a 2nd round pick and a 4th/5th round pick from port.

then give the bullies molloy (they have interest in him), our 1st and port's 2nd. smorgon says he wants top line players, but if you could have 5 draft picks in the 1st 2 rounds in stead of 3, he would have to take it because the bullies are rebuilding and 5 draftees in the 1st 2 rounds would help them immensley.

If the Pies want him, Molloy ain't gonna cut it. Start talking Rocca.

What makes Collingwood the toughest to deal with is that you've got no quality talls that you'd willingly trade, and your first pick (17) would be a second rounder in most other years.

If you can somehow work a top 10 pick or a Prestigiacomo into a package trade, you'd be in the ballpark of the other clubs' offers.

Fair call.. but its meant to be a wek draft after the first two or three. Collingwood would love Brown, but where does that leave Stevens? They cant have them both... they've got nothing really to offer to get both of them there.

If the Pies come to us with Rocca and their first rounder, it's game on. One of our later picks would probably come into the mix as well.

your joking right??, it would have to be the other way around (Brown and first or 2nd pick for Rocca) to even be considered!!

Unless the Grand Final result's been overturned, I'm pretty sure they've got pick 17. Carlton miss out on their normal first round pick.

Draft pick order goes on where the teams finished at the end of the H&A season, it has nothing to do with who won the grand final

rubbish

are you telling me that Brisbane will get a higher pick than Port?

the finals outcomes do have an affect on the pecking order. Brisbane will get the last pick of the first round, Collingwood will get 2nd last, and so on.

collingwood must do a deal before hand to get a 2nd round pick or better still another 1st round pick. then use that pick plus our 1st rounder plus molloy, because the dogs want him, to nab brown.

i'd like stevens but id much prefer brown. brown is a different player to stevens, and he is something that we would benefit from more, more so than a stevens player

This is just a guess but a trade of Brown for Rawlings with some draft picks from in somewhere seems like an ideal one. Hawks get to strengthen their midfield and the Dogs gets a ready made CHF.
I could imagine Brown being happy but not sure if Rawlings would agree, what do you think?

Rawlings wants to play finals. Bullies are out of the equation for him.

How about Holland(Key position player) and Richmond's 2nd round pick for Brown and Bullies 3rd round pick ?????

you're kidding

Holland is a hack and you want a draft pick as well as the superstar. Get serious.

Hey Doc

It's all about bargaining power.

Key position players don't grow on trees.

Bullies have to be carefull not not price themselves out of the market. They could end up with nothing. In the wash-up Richmond have nothing to lose.

Carlton may be the winner if Bullies play hardball

We can play hard ball as much as we like. KP's might be worth a fair bit on the market but that only relates to the good ones. This doesn't apply to duds. Would you take Pat Wiggins for Joel Bowden?

It is Richmond doing the shopping so they will have to pay what we want that is above what the rest of the market is willing to pay. Further we don't want the players you don't want. Richmond will lose because they will not get the player they desperately want and will be stuck with a player they desperately want to get rid of.

I'm sure Essendon, Pies, Hawks and everyone else will do better than what you have suggested.
