^ This!

We have never ever been in a better position to win it since 77

  • Never been better run
  • Won the McClelland
  • The whole squad in the right head space
  • We don't leave the G
  • Will be the home team in the GF, likely against a non vic team
  • One player not fit that we can cover

If we can't win it with all that advantage, may as well pack it up and go home.

Get it done Pies!

I’m confident - but 1977?

I was more confident in 2010. I’m nearly there, but will wait to see what happens tomorrow. I expect a win, but I’d prefer it to be emphatic.

So confident for tomorrow night.
will blow them away early and play the scoreboard for the win. Who cares by how much.
saving warp speed overdrive for the week after.
huge respect for what GWS has done in latter half of season but our boys are primed, this belongs to us.

I'd love Ginni in the 22 and stalking the packs inside f50 but who goes out?

Our forward group needs to lift as the individuals involved can be inconsistent and the gap between their best and worst is noticeable.

The great one is back. Devasted for Tay Tay, but hopefully we get through tomorrow night, and Tay is back for a GF.
Interesting to see how we play Naicos, whether we put him straight into the middle or HB. I'm thinking HB to get some run into his legs, then a switch into the midfield, whilst also floating up forward.
Cannot wait for tomorrow night.....GO PIES WE CAN DO THIS!!!!!!.....🙏🙏🙏🙏

Only recent pies fans could be confident of any final that Collingwood turn up to.
Us older fans remember 44 points at half time in ‘70.
We remember ‘77.
We remember ‘79.
Don’t even mention ‘80.
The list goes on.
44 GF’s, 27 losses……

We older fans are scarred deep.

What is more likely is that Green continually breaks a Titch tackle - what then?
Oh - he can remind Titch he’s 10cm taller- sorry I forgot 😆

To be clear, are you saying that being ten centimetres taller means that you easily break an opponent's tackle?

No wonder Fly dropped Noble, he's apparently incapable of tackling 20 of the oppo's players.

It's a wonder Tony Shaw got one game, let alone over 300. Did he ever lay a tackle?

This 'analysis' disturbs me

Wouldn’t pay any attention to the team lineups mate. They always have a couple of odd ones

Agreed….but I actually like the idea, so was just wondering if McCreery has actually been practising an on-ball role at all at training?

Still have to make it

And still have to get through without injuries

This will be a tough game

Do not take them lightly

He played midfield as a junior. But we aren’t swapping to many magnets around for a prelim.

He might get more midfield time in further seasons perhaps.

Of course, but I'm talking about taking advantage of the opportunity we haven't had for decades, to win the whole box and dice.

Throughout those decades we've had perpetual false dawns, if we can't win it from our position then we'll never be able to.

This is true, but as an older fan I’ve always gone into these big finals full of confidence. My main dream these days is to knock the scum over in a GF, I have dreams of absolutely kicking the crap out of them. Keeps my mental scars at bay. One day……….
