About time we had a premiership market. Mr Platinum how about you have a go at one- I am no good at odds. It will make for some interesting reading in what still appears to be a wide open race between 1st and even as far as 9th. I'm not suggesting OMs can finish 1st however finals is not insurmountable...yet

Yes.....Im inclined to agree. I think OS have lost 3 games inside a goal. Always very competitive and there abouts.
Also make SKOBS a "tad" shorter.....
These markets are for ‘mugs’, SKOB had the better of Collegians when they met, so not sure Collegians would be better placed to win the flag.

At this point it appears to be a one horse race…….

Still plenty of football to play, and we are yet to hit the half way mark of the season. It will be good to see the top four sides line up against each other this weekend.

SKOBAFL showing why they are up there. UNIAFL shortening also if Stewart stays on the park. Beast of a man. Good showing from OXWAFL today, after over half a decade of obscurity maybe playing the kids like their catholic counterparts is the right call…SCOTCHVFL also with a good showing. Anyone’s game this year.

It’s fair to say Old Scotch Collegian, James Stewart, is the reason for Uni Blues being in the four. He’s won four games off his own boot, either late in the game or across a whole match. Gun.

As I posted previously, betting is for mugs, it looks like OX is emerging from a decade of irrelevance, good for the competition.

Bernie’s finding that A grade is a different level, very stiff to be in the relegation zone.

Post the bye, the teams with the most upside appears to be Collegians and SKOB, I note both teams have had a chunk of their best outfits missing all season.

SKOB have missing 10-15 of there best every week for the last 25 years Briza.
You are a broken record.

James Stewart is to Uni, what Mirra was to Colls, a forward who can make the diff. Uni were nearly there last year,
they are there this year with him...... For me a Uni v OB Granny...
It’s ironic he didn’t decide to play at Old Scotch, the 44 year curse may have been broken.

Way too early to call the GF, OB just lost on the weekend and UB ‘could’ be three and five.

Every team just doing their best to avoid relegation, I think the top two are safe but anything can, and probably will, happen.

Throw a blanket over the top 5 for the flag IMO at this point in time.

All previous comments accurate and perfectly reasonable....

But I am holding firm : Uni v OB Granny. One proviso, Stewart must play the whole season. Some whispers he could be
heading OS for a stint.

Relegation : Fitz & ?????

One learned VAFA watcher told me the same thing about Stewart yesterday, he told me he has told the Blues players he will head off but be back in time for Grand Final day..

OM’s to slide to B.

Where there is smoke re : Stewart. Back for the GF, that maybe to late, horse may have bolted. Agree with 45 Angle's new odd settings. OM's going down?...couldnt happen to a better mob..,

If Mitch Hannan's transfer to the snowdogs is registered that is a solid get for their relegation battle.
He thinks he will be lucky to play two or three games at the end of the season, will start training at North Melbourne VFL in the next month. He is coming off a torn Achilles.

Who knows if he'll even be playing a game for North Melbourne reserves either, hes signed there to have access to their medical resources to aid his recovery

XXXXAFL recruits on the deadline is what I am here for. Surely BluesAFL and SKOBAFL must have a few on their radar?
Those days are long gone at SKOB, only Aplin who played last week didn't attend Skevs. A flag and a runners up in the last two years shows that they are doing something right. The Uni Blues model is not a sustainable one, they will fall, and fall hard at some point, ala Old Haileybury.

As long as they keep getting deals done with their major Benefactor, they will be fine..
