Definitely a 9,

Rohan (Has the potential to be anything)

Jetta (Didn't honestly expect him to be available at our pick, Certainly has a huge amount of potential has shown he can perform at senior level)

Reid (Will be a great one on one defender if he develops well, Very raw but certainly has allot of talent, Won't play for a couple of years but has soo much potential you can't help but be excited by him)

Sumner (Class with a capital C, I think this could could play seniors next year (But will probably most likely make his debut in 2011) Has great disposal excellent poise, Very hard to take down in a tackle (Not due to strength but more due to his evasiveness) I guess he is very very light (And there are some doubts on whether his frame will build up) But I can see him begin a great player for us in the future) (I had him going in the early 30's)

Dennis-Lane (Bit of a surprise he was available thought he would be gone by our pick, Will have an impact on our team from round one next year, Was very very good at WAFL level this year, And I have a feeling he isn't done developing yet either always puts in 100% effort (Fills a team need as well))

Some speed and excitement in the form of a ranga and a indigenous kid. Should really strengthen your midfield and forward options. And you got a key defender.

You'll need a good in and under mid next year. Kirk and Bolton will be winding up soon. Unfortunatel Gold Coast have all the picks.

Sorry swans16, I disagree with you, i'm wrapped to have Jetta playing for us.

Great recruiting in my opinion. I'm very very very excited for 2010 and beyond.

Paul Roos and Company, youve built a great team for the future.

All we need now is for Roosy to rescind his resignation notice.

Unbelievable draft which followed an unbelievable trade period.

It is quite phenominal how we've managed to turn our list around in a matter of months.

I give the draft a 9 at the moment, could be upgraded to a 10 if all selected come on. The whole trade period / draft period thus far has been almost faultless for us. We are in an excellent position with Bradshaw to come and Gordon on the rookie list. We should be pushing top 8 next season easily.

Its great to see the club drafting some young guys with pace and skill to burn. Rohan and Jetta both have the X factor, they are exciting and unpredictable, something we could do with.

I know nothing about them, but was disappointed somewhat by two less than 180cm .... hell even one 69kg!!!... players.

Interesting that the WA posters really rate Jetta.
Maybe it is just his name that puts me off ?.. but he is going to have to be superb player to cut it at 174cm and 69 kg?!

All I can say is Soph et al will enjoy the ACTFL premiership.

i think you've confused Jetta with Sumner (get used to those names, as they're members of our next premiership )

Jetta is 181cm, Sumner 174 cm

Jetta is probably the least risky of the entire lot, despite the fast flashy players often being the most risky..... he's performed particularly well at WAFL level and has been on that radar of AFL clubs for a while.... and i believe he was involved in an intra-club match with the Eagles, and impressed, hence why he's touted so highly in WA

He's the kind of player who could do a Rich, and be one of those who've played senior footy in a state league, and just bursts onto the scene. I really hope Roos reconsiders his policy of not playing first-year kids.
