Averaging 2 goals a game so far this season. Just sayin and last night we saw how it would work with Lynch.

Ty Vickery was a 2 goals a game forward, playing a similar role.

Last night just goes to show how lazy our team was last week against the suns.

As soon as Gibcus and Young went off the whole side knew they had to dig deep and do it themselves. They only just showed they still have the capacity to contend however, its bloody hard to stop 2 massive units like Curnow & McKay who are 2 of the top KPP forwards in the comp, especially when your down 2 key backs as well.

I am deeply gutted for Gibcus, footy isn't fair sometimes & this kid was looking great such as he was in his 1st year, so to be out again long term stings. I watched the VFL game yesterday and I can't wait to see guys like Brown, McCauliffe, Tresize, Lefau and a few others gets some solid senior games this year.

I'm eager to see who gets the call up next week, reckon Yze has a license now to make some actual changes.

McAuliffe for Prestia. Miller for Young. Trezise for Gibcus (better all round player than Brown I think).

Maybe outs:
MRJ for Cumberland. MRJ chases the ball like a kelpie and doesn't often catch it. Cumberland impacts contests and was good defensively.

Mansell. Just don't see what he offers. 6 disposals, 1 tackle, rinse and repeat from last year. Clarke is far better player and would get those stats easily. Sonsie also a maybe, but needs a game or two perhaps.

Mansell like Banks last week should not have come straight in. He can go straight back out.
Whether its Cumbo, Clarke, Sonsie, or Coulthard bring one of them in.

Junior only 4 disposals, needs to be finding more of the ball but on the plus side he kicked a goal, had 5 tackles, 5 contested possessions and had 22 pressure acts. Think he'll stay in G

Ross looks a lot more assured this year. When the ball is in his hand, I feel like he is level headed and generally makes a good decision. He is also processing faster which has reduced the number of times he gets in trouble getting run down or coralled into a turnover. We should give him every game this year to see whether he has another gear.

Dow reminds me of Ross 2 years ago, does some nice things but a little bit invisible. We should persist with him because his hands are clean and his ability to extract is high. Ideally we should get Shane Edwards

They got caught red-handed more than a few times cheating last night so they tried to even up the frees count by giving us a few frees that weren't even there either, it was obvious as dogs' balls they favored the blooz. I wish we had the same umps from our magoos game earlier because they did a terrific unbiased job the entire game.

We shouldn’t overlook the fact Lynch’s first goal came from a 50/50 ruck free. His second goal came from a shocking decision in our favour.

We certainly got reemed after quarter time, but we can’t say we didn’t get a good run first quarter.
