Not sure what the knock is on CCJ in the ruck. Beat Mummy easily in the last qtr and was also impressive last week.

Has definitely improved his ruckwork even from earlier in the season.

The effort wasn't horrible. At the moment there are too many players either younger than 22 or older than 29. It may be time to go back to the draft and accept we will be mid-table at best until some of those younger players approach their mid-20s.

All the undisciplined acts that men who are near the end resort to.
Late tackles, high tackles - second to the ball and skills have diminished.
Know his prep has been limited, but he's way off it and has evaded scrutiny all season from most.

This off-season we really need to work on a plan to stop possession footy against us on defence. Teams seem to be able to just hold possession and then pick their way through us up the ground.

The club better be 100% sure there is no spot for him. He obv can't play midfield, we are already gonna have to move one of Mansell, Stack, Rioli, Short when Broad comes back. We're not moving another one for Houli.

That’s the benefit of us losing tonight. Couldn’t have coped with them making it and us finishing 9th.

I think Essendon will make it. West Coast are almost as done as us this year so I don’t know if they’ll win bot games and Fremantle isn’t in good form. Don’t think St Kilda will make it either as they’re playing Geelong that’s just come off a loss. I don’t think Geelong have lost twice in a row since 2018 from memory.
