That second half was unacceptable.
The number of stupid pointless kicks across the middle of the ground just to keep possession is doing my head in.
And when the inevitable turnover happens no one is set up defensively so an easy score for the opposition.

Good effort in the first half. Heat clearly got to us in the second half, with Freo conditioned for it after playing in similar weather all season. Effort was still good but skills woefully dropped off. Nothing like the St Kilda game where we just stopped trying.

First half was good, but second half was abysmal. Only one goal is embarrassing.
Trainor continues to impress but needs to keep things simple with his kicking.
Hugo had a crack.
Nank is a warrior.
Thought would could have lost by 15 goals but tigga and broad lifted in the 2nd half when nobody else did.
I really want Sonsie to make it, but he won’t.
Ross has been terrible since round 1.
Trezise is not afl standard.
Hopper and Taranto got heaps of it, but not once did they look damaging.
Kmac is a beast and if all of them had his work ethic, we’d be a better team.
Miller was just outclassed by treacey. He won’t be the only one.
Brown frustrates the hell out of me but I was please to see him at least get his hands on the ball a lot more today.
Short is putrid. How did he win a B&F?
Seth was horrible, but that’s his first bad one.
I thought Banks was ok in the first half and then went missing.
Changes…I have said I wouldn’t play Balta until after sentencing so that doesn’t change.
I would love players like short to be dropped, but it won’t happen.

Could easily make five or six changes on that second half effort.

Lynch really struggling this year, very unfortunate.

Sonsie and Ross playing high half forwards isn't working. Ross had a few score involvements at least.

Really missing class in the middle. Everyone is effectively a grunt insider type.

Think the heat really just ground us down and the inexperience continues to show. Will be a tough watch but slowly slowly improve.
