The same Broad who absolutely pantsed Jye Amiss?Blights been one of the shining lights.
Broad should be dropped before him.
Only 3 umps after Shorty "Balta'd" one of themRioli blatantly tripped....4 umpires "nothing to see here"

It has got to the stage where when one bad turnover occurs for TT or Hopper, it's all people focus on post game. They forget the other 30 disposals that weren't bad turnovers. We are highly competitive for 30-45 minute patches in all games because we have some senior midfielders able to compete. But at this time we only have two quality ones - TT and Hopper. Our issue is not them, it's not having anyone of quality to support them - yet. That quality will come in the form of Lalor, Smillie, McCaulliffe, Hotton and at least one of our top-5 picks from next draft - with maybe Campbell getting injected in there (plus Prestia to provide a chop out in a few weeks). Not turned the ball over constantly with no pressure on them? They are senior players with big pay packets.
need more of thisOnly 3 umps after Shorty "Balta'd" one of them![]()
yet lynch gets 1 after getting pushed and collides with de conning who got up quicker than a Jack in the boxI haven't seen anything about Vlastuin's HIA result. No concussion means only a fine for Voss.
A concussion for Vlastuin would mean a two-week suspension, reducible to one with an early plea.
Of courseneed more of this
all accidental of course

HahaThe same Broad who absolutely pantsed Jye Amiss?
That was Trainor not BroadThe same Broad who absolutely pantsed Jye Amiss?
oh yeah. umpire must have given shortys younger bro a shove and some lip on hindley street the night beforeOnly 3 umps after Shorty "Balta'd" one of them![]()

"Midfield structure is wrong but I can't see who we bring in to fix it". Are you joking? What about Pick #1, Pick #7, Pick #12 and McCauliffe? With 2 x top-6 picks this upcoming draft we've literally got our midfield sorted for a decade, so I don't know why people are so panicked about our midfield 5-games into a rebuild, particularly as Lalor looks like he'll be uber elite already.Pretty much how I see it.
Our midfield structure is all wrong. But I can't see who we bring in to fix it. Pretty much sums up the drafting and development from 5 years ago.
this year will be long and tough, but green shoots is what i want to see.
BTW I hope Freo go all the way. I reckon you've built a team to win the whole shebang. And of the contenders you're the least worst.
Miller has been excellent in 2025 thus far. Had his colours lowered against Treacy, but I really think most of the goals were due to horrific turnovers catching him out of position. And one was a free kick by Hopper. So let's not burn the guy on the back of his first poor game of the season. And Dow is on the cusp of making the grade or ending his career. At the moment you could put his stats in before the game - 20 touches, 3 clearances, 4 tackles and no goals. He needs to turn that into every second week getting 25 / 6 / 6 and a goal and he's valuable moving forward. I'm barracking for him as he gives his all, and I really hope he makes it. He's got something our other mids don't - he just needs a massive shot of self confidence to take the next step....he's on the cusp, but it could go either way.Miller rebounded well from effectively half time. A completely unfair whipping boy, but gets essentially the best key forward each week. Makes errors but does a lot of unheralded things.
Dow definitely taken a step up in terms of possession quantity, 5th in our team. Kicking definitely not a strong suit but he's having a crack in for 4 qtrs every game.
Maurice plays a complete feast or famine role as a small forward. Think his pressure is hugely valuable, especially as a bench mark for the team.
You're worried about pressure on spots for small forwards? Hotton will play a mid/fwd role but is injured. J Clarke plays that role and is injured. Mansell plays that role and is suspended. Alger will play that role and is a kid. Lalor will be a 60/40 mid-fwd and was injured. Then we have Campbell and Green. You've completely missed the point. We have intense competition for spots when it comes to inside mids and key position players. We could have half a dozen injuries to KPF and still easily cover it. Meanwhile Mansell gets injured and we have to bring in a fat MRJ who can't run out a quarter much less a game. It's a composition issue where we have no depth in some areas of the ground and far far too much depth in others (so kids in those positions aren't getting a game or are getting played out of position).
What absolute drivel.Haha
Broad was solid in a champion team but in a rebuilding team and at the end of his career he is being shown up.
Why does he constantly get cheap kicks to then turn it over? Why does he kick on his left foot when he doesn’t have one? Why does he get out marked in one on ones constantly.
He’s seriously overrated by many on here.
His disposal efficiency is 84% this year and kicking efficiency at 82% which is above league average. So wrong on that one.Why does he constantly get cheap kicks to then turn it over?
His loss rate in 1 on 1s this year is 18% which is better than Harris Andrews, Alex Pearce, Jeremy McGovern, Steven May. I suppose you think they're all duds as well? Why does he get out marked in one on ones constantly.
Or maybe they see what he adds and you don't evidenced by ignoring the fact kept Amiss to 2 disposals. He’s seriously overrated by many on here.
That is incorrect. Just say you didn't watch the game. That was Trainor not Broad
And that's the thing 3 umpires and not one of them seen the trip but I bet my balls if it was the other way around they would've had their whistles blowing in an instant ....reamed us at the start of the 3rd ...it's getting to the stage where its blatantly obvious that we get fook all from the umpires .....now that's either the umpires are fooking idiots or they are directed to umpire this way .....we all cant be seeing thingsOnly 3 umps after Shorty "Balta'd" one of them![]()
Did you throw your phone against the wall after you typed that?especially a game with a fake rivalry that was meant to be the centrepiece of their dumb 'gatheraround' that theyve rammed down our throats for 6 months
12-0 frees to hawks from the moment they went 59 down just (which was when the umps and cfl had their meeting at half time)
the league answers to NOBODY BUT THEMSELVES re corruption.. NOBODY
voss same time off as mansell
