The Saints player also short-stepped when he saw the contact coming which unfortunately meant the contact was with his head. It's the sort of thing that gets post-rationalised by the media if you're a Geelol or Scum player, and they would get off Scott free. But the MRP like to be told what to think by the Herald Scum. It's Sicily, so he'll get 2 weeks.

Well we’re gonna take a lot of confidence into the game that’s for sure - we’ve always played Adelaide oval fairly well from memory?

Selection competition is the toughest I’ve seen it for a really long time, even during some of our flag years. Can’t see where the changes come from our balance looks amazing currently especially behind the ball

The midfield battle is what I’m most looking forward to in this one. Port’s mids are in the middle of a really good run of form.

And will be one of our biggest challengers if not the biggest challenger for the best midfield in the league in the 4-5 years time.

Yes his run is a lot better and his kicking might be a tad more reliable but the half hearted attempts to tackle or pick up a disputed ball…….timid is the best way to describe it.

morrison is going to struggle to get back in unless his form warrants it or injuries take hold. Ward should be played in front of him in any event.

He had a very good game but took short steps twice in the first half. Has his limitations. Just needs to keep playing within them.

And Bramble is still well short of 50 games. I keep thinking he's between 50-100, but he's still only about 30.

Lots of scope for improvement and consistency.

I’d go with either Scrim or DGB to play exactly his role.

CMac should not be sub 3 in a row, so maybe swap him with Frenchie or Bramble.
