After playing in the finals each year for like a hundred years straight. Don’t see how Swans losing to Carlton is at all relevant to the Saints strange choicesAnd you just lost to Carlton at the SCG.

Clearly looking for a young coach.Bassat said Brett Ratten would assume senior coaching responsibilities for the remainder of the season while the club undertakes a rigorous process to find the best coach to lead the club to a second premiership.
I really believe a contributing factor to St Kilda's decline in recent weeks (probably more like 5-6 weeks) has been a very exhausting fixture.
Clearly looking for a young coach.
Amidoingitright?
Yes probably best if he is young as after he gets us into the GF, Freo will probably want to poach him
For sure. But he made the finals four times? Made the prelim twice. The way people talk about him sometimes it’s as if North were constantly fighting it out for the wooden spoon.
Might revisit this in three years and see if you are subsequently proven wrong.
No, that’s just your assumption that one player can make that much of a difference. You’re talking nonsense.Unwarranted is pretending that IF he was playing the Saints would be finals contenders.
We are officially rebuilding. And you just lost to Carlton at the SCG.
What? No, that’s just your assumption that one player can make that much of a difference. You’re talking nonsense.
How can you count Hannebery? You are right about Paddy. But the injuries to Carlisle, Webster, Roberton, Steven, Hannebery and Geary for a large chunk of the year were crippling. They’re all best 22 at any team in the competition (maybe not Geary) so when you try and suggest that the injury of one player who isn’t a star (you are right) isn’t that big a deal just shows either a lack of knowledge, or more likely - total (deliberate) ignorance.
Im not injury trolling. Two posts in a few minutes; Jesus you really want to injury troll McCartin don't you?
In summary:
- Started old and ordinary
- Younger and terrible
- Back to older and ordinary
- Back to younger and terrible
So really absolutely no clue what they were doing. All over the shop on list management.
Richo's biggest failing is he is a very poor judge of footballing talent.
He thought Mav Weller an Jack Newnes were gun players. He thought Pay McCartin was a gun player.
And I am saying that given he has been concussed 8 times in 34 games we can’t really make an assessment on his ability to impact a game. What key forward gets judged after 34 games even at full fitness? What?
I am saying the opposite.
Your reading comprehension skills need work.
I'm saying he makes zero difference. If anything he is a liability when he plays.
Hes not an A grader yet but hes a very good young player. Why are the saints targeting Goldstein and Draper? Think Marshall doing really well leading the ruck
I think it’s fair going after GoldsteinBecause we don't have a single other ruck worth anything on our list.
Longer and Pierce both with long term concussion issues at the moment too. Both won't play again
He is a KPF who has played less than 40 games.... I don’t know what you’re accustomed to, but not everyone is Lance Franklin or Wayne Carey. KPF need at least 80-100 games before a judgement is made.Im not injury trolling.
I'm saying he isn't that good when he does actually play.
‘Rebuilding’ biggest load of crap I’ve ever heard. We are officially rebuilding.
No secret.
We played in a GF in a 2016.
I reckon Clarkson is a dick at times but I reckon he can coach.Because both Scotts come across as dicks and Ratten seems a nice bloke.
I don't understand it to be honest. We've got a very good young ruck. What we need is a decent back up in the twos.I think it’s fair going after Goldstein
How can you count Hannebery?
He has played 2 games for you.
Also there are plenty of games when Richo had all those names on the park and you were thrashed by lowly teams.
V North Melbourne on Good Friday 2018 comes to mind.
Goldstein is depth and experience. He would be able to mentor Marshall really well.I don't understand it to be honest. We've got a very good young ruck. What we need is a decent back up in the twos.
You’ve got your work cut out getting him back to his best at his age, but yeah, I agree he is a gunHannebery is included on the list because he is injured - and that’s why he’s also only played two games.
If he wasn’t injured, he’s best 22 at every team in the competition.
