Re Naismith...whats is the right price Luke?
Well, first year Heeney had almost no responsibility and played mainly forward, second year Heeney had some responsibility and played mostly forward with additional mid responsibilities, third year Heeney had glandular fever and fourth year Heeney has spent most of his time in the middle covering for Hanners and working his arse off! When he comes to have a shot at goal, he's pretty exhausted, especially in the earlier rounds while he acclimatised.
Using last weeks game as an example for any of the players is not reason enough to call Heeney one of our 'biggest turnover merchants' imo. There is absolutely no evidence to support that this is true, I've looked. Have you?

My initial reply, that you quoted, was to someone saying that Heeney 'our biggest turnover merchant'. And I don't think he has lost confidence, and also think his kicking has improved lately (except for the last game, obvioiusly).Huh???? Where did I suggest that? All I noted was his initial pin point accuracy has diminished. Yep he is playing more mid field time...but...is that enough to explain his now lack of confidence.
If Lloyd want to go to the GC would we be interested in Harbrow?

Probably rightGetting on a bit?
Hanley would be on decent coinHe seems pretty rusted on as a part of that club. I'm sure he's getting paid pretty nicely too.
I'd happily take a run at Pearce Hanley. He's had a rotten run with injuries, but he's fantastic at his best and I suspect expendable from GCS's point of view.
Could we get rid of him and get another eagles ruckman.I would keep him on a base contract, 1 year extension to be R3 behind Sinkers and Cameron..... Would prefer the extra cash used elsewhere in our squad.
Sometimes I wish we were
Other than age it would be a yes. Still has pace and is willing to break the lines. If Lloyd want to go to the GC would we be interested in Harbrow?

Seriously? Any evidence to back that up?
I'll agree that he hasn't been as clean as he could be, but that does not make him our 'biggest turnover merchant'. That's just rubbish.Uh no? Just use your eyes? Heeney's been one of our best players this year I just don't think he's as clean as he could be.

Mate, that reply wasn't to you... the things said was in response to a previous poster saying that he was.Every player has a level of responsibility. I watch every game, often more than once*. I am not suggesting he is our biggest turnover merchant. I am suggesting what started as elite ball use has deteriorated.
*struggling to rewatch the debacle v GoCo
